Lovely hotel with good food and excellent staff. Made to feel very welcome. A very homely place to stay.
Slightly dated but still added to the charm of the hotel.

The room was perfectly comfortabe, the food was lovely and the young staff were very attentive and polite.
There was a bad smell in the reception area of the hotel, which was present each time we were in this area.

Great breakfast and wonderful dinner.
Signed up for an apartment. Big mistake. They moved us to a regular room which was very nice.

The view of the river was good and convenient parking
Extremely small room and bed. Property in general needs an upgrade. It was all very tired and our room didn’t look anything like pictures on website.
Didn’t get to go in bistro even though we’d booked weeks before our trip. Food in evening was good but breakfast extremely poor. You really need to improve quality of produce at breakfast as it really lets you down.

Stayed for my birthday whilst travelling around the NC500. Apartment was gigantic and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, only a short walk into town, restaurant was lovely for dinner and the breakfast was equally as nice. Free parking on the street to

We received a warm welcome and we’re shown to our apartment which was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was basic but had everything we needed for a short stay. The bedroom and lounge were both large and comfortable.
We had a lovely breakfast which set us up for the day.
The bathroom was small compared to the rest of the apartment which is not really a problem, but the shower was not great.

Very close to the centre, we stayed in one of the apartments in a separate building. Apartment was spacious with excellent facilities. It had lovely high ceilings and a comfy lounge to sit in. Clean and plenty of towels. Staff a bit variable - some great, others ignored us. Had a very good evening meal in the bar, great seafood. Parking easy on the street outside the hotel
Curtains needed rehanging in both bedroom and lounge - was hard to get the bedroom dark enough to sleep. Decor in the main building is quite dated, as was our bathroom. Breakfast service more chaotic and they allocate you a numbered table to sit at when you arrive for breakfast.
Despite the niggles, it was good value for money and we would return another time

Street parking and dated decor of the building.

Warm welcome. Very helpful and professional staff who were all very friendly. Comfortable accommodation. We stayed in an apartment which was well kitted out. Although we took all meals in the hotel you could have catered for yourself if you had wanted. The food was exceptional. The best meal we have had. Thank you for your welcome.

We stayed in an apartment which gave us extra facilities and made it easy to deal with our dog. Breakfast was in the hotel, and excellent
Wick was a disappointment - it has seen better days and is now very run down Don't expect to get a choice of places to eat, especially at lunch time

Location for town good. Staff friendly and attentive. Resultant with good food and pleasure atmosphere
Top floor (3rd floor) of apartments some way from main hotel. No lift. Room was very tired. Bed awful

Historic hotel in Wick. Staff were fine, there is a bar, restaurant and breakfast room, all great for a one night stopover. The owner is very friendly and was happy to explain that the front entrance to the hotel is on THE SHORTEST STREET IN THE WORLD AT 2 MTRS LONG.
Apart from passing through on our way up north,Wick doesn't have a lot to offer. We were travelling in two very nice sports cars so weren't too keen with on street parking but it is very quiet there so all was fine.

Short walk to town if you need it. We were only stopping one night on our road trip so we booked dinner at the hotel restaurant. Very good food and staff friendly.
Parked the car outside on the road as suggested...it was fine.
Nice touches in the room including a little after dinner drink.
Breakfast buffet and fresh cooked options..all good.
Slightly boring decor and dark wood furniture. Needed a contrast colour to set off the beige!
