The room was amazing, spacious and really comfortable. The double size bath with jets was a real luxury and the view from the bed was beautiful and relaxing. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Despite being on a main road the bedroom was very quiet and I would stay again without hesitation.

A very well presented hotel with lots of history. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of drinks to choose from and also on the menu, the breakfast was very good as well.
The shower area in my room wasn't very big.

The staff was wonderful! They were extremely helpful and were attentive to our needs.
The bed was very soft and we woke each morning with sore backs.

Good location for what I needed and plenty of parking. Friendly welcome…
Very uncomfortable bed and room was a trek! Really creaky floorboards from the room above which can’t really be helped but when the guests above were walking around at 1am I was woken. The food wasn’t great. I had fish and chips but the fish was watery. For breakfast I had a bacon roll but the bacon, although thick, was chewy and had a bit of an odd aftertaste.
