Small, simple but comfy hotel in centre of Norwich.

Great location minutes from the heart of Norwich, my room was a small double and would have been very tight for two, but was fine for one person. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast.

Frosted glass on bedroom room meant no view. It was inner courtyard so quiet.

Perfect location, fantastic staff, brilliant nights sleep!

Fantastic location, really well maintained and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Bed was comfortable and the showers had great pressure. Complimentary piece of cake is a really nice touch.

Only thing and this is absolutely minor, I couldn’t find anyone to print my invoice for my expenses.

Excellent with very clean room, nice breakfast and comfy bed.

Breakfast was amazing. It took some time in making, however, I didn’t mind as the taste was delicious. I liked the coffee too. The bed linen had hint of nice aroma, quite pleasant while resting. A slice of cake was served every day with fresh water in glass bottles. I am very picky about cleanliness and never gets satisfied anywhere; however at St Giles, I was happy: the room and bathroom both were very clean. I will come back here again if I visit Norwich.

If the window could be opened during sleep time for some ventilation, that would have been better. The room get’s stuffy due to that.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic hosts and excellent breakfast.

The room was stunning. Beautiful decor, great sized shower and bathroom. Fantastic communication from the host which made checking in out of hours very each. A nice surprise of brownies and milk left for us. The breakfast was very tasty, generous and top quality

The matress had a noticeable fall towards the middle of the bed and feels like it needs replacing.

Perfect place to stay within a stones throw of historic Norwich centre

Everything, perfect location, beautifully appointed, super breakfast - best ever in fact - lovely old building which oozes character but has been renovated to a high standard to provide all mod cons. The ladies who run the place were super - great advocates for the property, really lovely venue

Nothing really, just talk to the hotel in advance about stairs as there’s no lift so you’ll need a room on the lower floors if you don’t like stairs.

A great boutique B&B; perfect accommodation for a city break in Norwich.

38 St Giles is ideally positioned and suited for a city-break in Norwich. All staff members were exceptionally attentive and helpful and check-in was smooth and swift. Our room was both comfortable and stylish, whilst the bathrooms was modern and well-equipped. Breakfast was simply fantastic, with a broad range well-considered and perfectly prepared options. Overall, an excellent stay in accommodation that we’ll want to return to when next visiting Norwich.

Beautiful peaceful stay in the middle of the city

Beautiful hotel with lovely friendly staff and the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel. Woke up to hear the birds singing despite being right in the middle of the city. Host was really welcoming and friendly. Would definitely love to stay again.

The staff were welcoming, accommodating and extremely professional. The room was a good size, well appointed. The decor and pictures were tasteful. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were exactly what we expected. They were first class.

We could not fault the building, the room, the breakfast room or the staff.

Lack of drawers in the room maybe beside drawers instead of tables it drawers instead of table with drinks facilities , large crack in shower tray covered with a none slip mat !!

A truly special place! Beautifully furnished with very high quality furniture and soft furnishings. The attention to detail is exceptional! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower and bath we stunning. The breakfast was like going out for a fine dining experience!

Beyond expectations!

Everything about this hotel was amazing! A great location to walk into the city centre, clean rooms with a very comfortable bed and cake on arrival. Staff were pleasant but professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast had so many delicious choices especially the homemade granola. We also tried out some of their coffee and food recommendations during our stay and these places didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely stay at 38

The room was absolutely lovely and the building is quite quirky, very convenient location but limited parking, although you can get free on street parking after 6.30

The only niggle we had was how long it took to get breakfast, when we came down to breakfast there was one other couple waiting on their breakfast, but for some reason it took 50 minutes to get our breakfast from point of order, unfortunately just not good enough, the food was lovely but way to long to wait and no apology when the food was finally brought out.

Beautiful building and period decor, including chandeliers and stained glass windows; extremely hospitable and professional staff; lovely extra touches on arrival, including rose petals on the bed (we were celebrating an anniversary), freshly made cake and a bottle of prosecco; an extremely comfortable bed, and the nicest hotel breakfast I have ever had :)

The location, staff and breakfast were exceptional

The room, in particular the bathroom, was very cramped. The sink was too small to wash in properly, the shelving was minimal and the bedroom was very small for the price we felt

An outstanding guest house for luxury weekends in Norwich.

St Giles is a lovely B&B. Our room was beautifully finished, the bed extremely comfortable and there were lots of nice touches. The staff we met were very friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we settled in smoothly. The breakfast was nothing short of superb. The area was central but quiet.

Our room was on the ground floor o and a little smaller than expected. It was right to prioritorise privacy by frosting our street-level room but the lack of a view was a little disappointing (even if it didn't diminish the very positive experience we had).
