Uncomfortable bed in room 11.

Great location, nice decor, easy to check in and car park. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Was quite cold at night, not a thick enough duvet and no spare warm blanket. The bed was also not comfortable, clearly it was 2 very different singles put together which were too different to blend in so uncomfortable.

Comfortable, dog friendly stay in Norwich

I had a wonderful stay at The Georgian Townhouse! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious with plenty of room to relax. It was so convenient to have a great restaurant and pub onsite—both offered a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. The best part is that the hotel is dog friendly; being able to bring my pup along for the adventures was the best part of the trip. I would happily stay here again!

The food in the restaurant was good.

We arrived to a cold room with no heating on. We managed to get a small dusty fan heater working despite the remote not working. There were tea and coffee facilities but no spoons. The room was not as expected it had cobwebs on some of the walls. The food was good however it was pricey for what we received. Service was slow and we were crammed in sitting very close to other couples in the restaurant. Definitely not what we expected. The cleaners in the room next door were very noisy in the morning.

Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel and bar. Without exception all the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was really warm which was much appreciated as it was freezing outside. Loads of hot water, spotless bed linen and towels. Free car parking. Good location. Would definitely stay here again if we ever go to Norwich again.

Well positioned,attractive property. Handy for Theatre Royal,where we saw a play.

Room 16 was a dark room. Ceiling and upper wall dark green and one of the spotlights not working. TV signal very poor on BBC 1 and 2 making it unwatchable.

Comfortable, close to town, friendly staff

Our room was gorgeous! Lots of extras including a radio and coffee machine. We were i a really quiet space too. Bed was comfortable and the towels were large and fluffy. Staff were welcoming and friendly

The shower head had a mind of its own and we both struggled to get it to point where we needed it but the temperature was easy to control. The bathroom fan wasn’t working so we were worried we would set the smoke alarm off and mould was starting to form on the tongue and groove which was a shame as it was a beautiful space

Lovely staff, excellent proximity and parking

Wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful staff Excellent proximity to the city centre Good on site parking Restaurant and bar on site The issue with my room was immediately resolved and I was kindly compensated with an upgrade.

The rooms and bathrooms are more than quite dirty and the furniture and carpets are very heavily stained/damaged with wear and scuffs that desperately require painting or renovation.

Theatre stay

Great location for the theatre. The hotel was very clean and warm. Ample of parking which is free. Nice bar area which we enjoyed before the theatre and at the end of our evening. Loved the styling of the bedrooms which had everything in it you needed. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing. The staff was very friendly and polite

We wouldn't rate the breakfast and have it on another stay. There was a good selection on the buffet table but the waitress was slow in restocking. Our cooked breakfast wasn't great. My smashed avocado came out as a halved avocado and it was on the turn so there was a lot of over rip black to it, which I left. The fried eggs looked more like poached eggs and weren't set properly. There was nothing crispy about them around the edges. The sausages were not hot. For a 10 minute walk you can get a lot better in the city center for the same price. The lighting in the bedroom could have been better as you couldn't see yourself properly in the mirror when getting ready to go out.

Everything was good. I really enjoyed breakfast, coffee was also tasty. The hotel looks nice and stylish. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is also great, very close to the city centre, but quiet.

I didn't like the bed and pillows. It was not comfortable for me. Two taps in the bathroom were really stylish and beautiful, but not really convenient.

Great Hotel, But Didn't Have A Good's Night Sleep

Friendly staff and a nice bar. Decor in the room was nice and was cleaned well. Hotel was easy to find and the parking was free! Great location, very close to town.

The bed was to firm and I didn't have a great night's sleep. Lights are kept on in the hallways at night which is annoying, the light creeps in through the doors so we had to put a towel down to plug the gap! Hotel is also very noisy, you can hear everything.

Really enjoyed our stay.

Location was great. The room was cosy and comfortable.

There was a slight smell of drains when we first entered the room so had to run the shower for a while. The extractor fan didn't seem to work - unless it was silent. Also we thought we had paid for breakfast at the time of booking because on booking.com it said it included breakfast. It wasn't clear that when I chose the room it didn't include breakfast.

Tired decor and services in our room. Fan in bathroom didn’t work. Bathroom sink was cracked. Cracks in walls which had been painted over but the whole room just looked a bit unloved. The room was very hot even though the radiator was only in 1.

A wonderful hotel and lovely room & staff!

Great location, lovely building, facilities and staff.

Our only issue was that the shower cubicle was a bit dark and needed repairing. Apart from that the room was lovely and we had a fabulous terrace - which we sadly didn’t get to appreciate as it was very cold!

Sleepless Night

The tap in the bathroom making a screeching noise from midnight until the morning,( it wasn’t like it when I arrived but I was not only in the room for about an hour getting ready to go out)I did turn the tap off and on but it kept making a noise all night up until I left in the morning…. I got no sleep at all!!! It was totally unacceptable and given I had asked for a quite room I was very disappointed! I did mention this to the receptionist when I left and showed her the videos attached and she was amazed how load it was! As I mentioned I did not get any sleep at all!! And want a full refund please!please see attached videos.

We paid not a small amount of money for no sleep and no hot water and a dirty room.

The location and the staff

Noise. Woken by late night finish in the bar due to an event. Recycling being put out by staff at 2am after the event had finished (this should have been done the following day). Noise from guests who came to bed after the event. Had to call the night porter to ask guests to be quiet at 2.30am. Mould in the bathroom. Broken lampshade. Not the right remote for the tv. No hot water. No refund offered. We have had to ask for details on how to get compensation.

It was basic.

The resturant and bar area were lovely and the staff were very friendly.

Our friends room was grubby. Marks on bathroom tiles like they hadn't been cleaned, hair in the bath (obviously not cleaned) and the floor also didn't look like it had been hoovered. It wasn't really up to scratch to be honest.

Helpful staff- upgraded to late checkout- nice room- nice food.

In the restaurant the manager was less helpful and willing suggesting service would end at 8 (when advertised till 9) which meant we were very rushed to get in having only just arrived.
