Comfortable and friendly hotel.

Firstly the staff were really helpful, friendly and professional, very welcoming and informative, secondly the room and bathroom were of a good quality and lastly, they deserve the accolade

Great relaxing time, will be back again.

Cleanliness, friendliness and breakfast were all excellent. Happily changed tv to the rugby while we had a drink before heading out to the town centre. Room was comfortable, but cramped when the sofa bed was open.

The window fixings were badly worn so that it couldn't close properly, allowing for road noise to enter our room.

Pleasant but pillows were like solid wood not really a good night sleep and too far out from town.

It's not good value for money

The hotel's nice, good location, and the staff were super attentive and kind. They even offered us a late checkout without us asking, and explained everything really well. The Wi-Fi wasn't super strong but it was stable enough. We didn't hear much noise and the room was warm, but the AC worked fine.

The bed was too soft, which made both me and my husband wake up often during the night, so I wouldn't definitely stay for more than one day as we woke up tired. The shower is not strong and the toilets are very small. Food was not great. Scrambled eggs were full with liquid in the breakfast and at the dinner our salad had lots of fruit flies in them.

Easy to find and to park, welcoming reception, spacious room, great facilities all around, nice bar, very good breakfast, spa is a great addition, easy access to Norwich City Centre, overall the hotel feels very spacious and relaxed. Also great to be able to check out at 12 noon.

Beds weren't the greatest but we stayed one night only, most likely other rooms have better beds.

Good, useful facilities spoiled by some of the below standard service in restaurant.

Good attention/service at breakfast from Dani, she circulated well. She provided good information regarding allergies and showed some understanding of limitations. Engaged with guests. I misplaced my phone when I went swimming and when I asked at the gym reception the man behind the desk was helpful and checked it was my phone that had been handed in before letting me leave with it.

Poor service evening meal. Asked for table to be cleaned. Staff member leaning against a wall and no real welcome or assistance. Some food not cooked properly, some of the salad was poor quality (end of old bag). Restaurant manager indifferent. Spoke to receptionist (Emily ?) about poor experience aswell restaurant manager about unprofessionalism. Mark was the exception providing quality service at evening meal. When our table was cleaned and apology was given by the lady cleaning the table.

Nice clean hotel frindly staff

we had an evening meal in the Resturant which was good ,but would have been a lot better if the there was more choice on offer. The staff could have cleared the pathways to make it safer to walk we had lots of snow,& it was very slippery in places. Some of the corridors had no heating & it was very cold

Great breakfast and frinedly staff

Loud air con/heating is unbearable, so very unfriendly for an autistic head. Had to turn off. This caused the room to be freezing at night. Asked for a blanket - was given another duvet cover, which was very thin and made no difference. Slept under our coats for warmth, which was a shame as otherwise it was a great hotel. The breakfast room did have a very loud kids' programme on the TV during our first breakfast, but the staff did turn the volume off when asked.

All you need for a nice stay in Norwich

Everything I needed for a really enjoyable stay; quiet room, really good breakfast with a varied range of options for veggies, nice pool and gym facilities, helpful staff. I'll stay again, recommended.

The breakfast is expensive, but is good quality. The pool is quite small, ok with 6-8 people but any more makes it pretty full. Other than those staying at the hotel, there's a lot of members using the facilities. Perhaps there could be adult only and guest only slots to manage crowding? The hotel is over 50 minutes walk from the city centre and a taxi from the station cost me £14. But there's a bus stop just outside the hotel taking you to the centre.

Staff helpful and friendly. Very clean .

Room was cold on arrival, could have been warmed knowing it was booked, and cold outside . Menu in restaurant was better last year, fish was over cooked , for the fish and chips. Cooked breakfast was over cooked and not nice, apple juice watered down. No dressing gowns for visit to pool in room.

Using the filters this was incorrect there was no EV charger

The location of the property was acceptable The staff were very pleasant and helpful

The beds were uncomfortable. The shower rooms were smiling. I had requested EV charger and was given a choice of only two properties. On arriving there were no EV charges at this building. I had to go to a shopping centre. And had to spend from midnight to 130 in the morning in my car charging my car away from the premises. This was misrepresented on the choices.

The heating in the room worked well. Restaurant was fine and clean and fit for purpose. Breakfast good.

Dated, poor old fashioned decor, tiny bathroom which was impossible to move in. Uncomfortable bed. No charging pointed. Old 80’s local authority building.

Good location. Room was clean and spacious. Didn't have time to use the facilities but all looked nice. Reception staff on check in was nice.

Staff are very unprofessional in the restaurant/bar. Very unwelcoming and rude at breakfast, greeted/shouted at half way across the room to then be met with an utterly rude mannered women, who was very abrupt, blunt and argumentive, all in the space of 5 minutes. Came across the same women when ording room service who again was unbelievabley unprofessional and rude. Food arrived, ate half of the omelette to then find a hair and and eyelash in it. Will never stay in this holiday inn again. Worst service I've ever received in all the hotels I've stayed in.

Enjoyable stay.

The welcome, room location. The spa was well presented, and the facilities were brilliant. The staff were helpful and attentive. The breakfast selection quality of the food and the morning staff were excellent. Three nights of undisturbed sleep.

A little more attention regarding the restaurant side of things. First night brilliant, the second night and third we were left unsure about ordering food and actually decided to eat away from the hotel. We had planned to eat at the hotel originally.
