Nice and private place for business travellers but still close to everything

Friendly staff, cozy place, not near the road yet 2min walk to everything, clean room, chill lobby

Restaurant fries looked and tasted like they came from the freezer, for the rest meal and drinks were ok. nothing i specifically disliked about the hotel.

Had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

We can't fault anything, Breakfast was great. Room was lovely and in particular liked the garden views both from the room and from the public areas.

The comfort and cleanliness of the room and the parking space.

Breakfast can definitely be improved. Not much healthy choices. For example, musli loaded with sugar, no real steel cut musli. Just a few vegetables pieces. They do have nuts (fresh and not roasted which is a big plus). They have gluten free bread option (but not gluten free sourdough).

Comfortable room, clean and well furnished. Friendly staff. Car parking available without charge.

stayed here in 1990, it's even better today.

Excellent breakfast with made to order eggs and Belgian waffles. Many meats, cheeses, fruit as well.

Unfortunately, restaurant not open weekends. But more than dozen outside restaurants nearby with wide range of cuisines.

Location to Waterloo historic sights

The AC didn’t work that well in our room. The window did open and it was cool outside. However, there were occasional smokers outside just 1 floor down so we had to keep the window closed.

Great service. Very good breakfast. Nice room. Nice ourdoor and indoor facilities. Good value for the money.

That we only stayed one night. We want to explore the town of Waterloo the next time. This time we saw Waterloo museum, Lions Head and the battlefield.

Great locale, make sure your room is not near the outside smoking area for breakfast diners

Quality hotel, oozing class. Well located, plenty of parking, fantastic restaurant adjoining and good breakfast.

Just the room service was below par on this occasion, having to ask for tea/coffee/mugs and there is no point in leaving one uht milk.

Our stay in Waterloo at Le Côté Vert was excellent. We’ll be back!

The breakfast was excellent even it can be more diversified according to my opinion. For example more types of cheese and ham as local products will be nice. The staff is very kind and professional. Especially if you speak French even all of them have a good command of English too.

These are NOT negative aspects but some observations with a view to improve the information on website according to the actual reality: 1. The iron and ironing means not the room but the hotel facilities. 2. In the room there are a water heater, coffee, tea, sugar, milk cream, mineral water every day. There is no information on site about all these. Why? 3. When you buy a “superior triple room” you receive a triple or a double one? It was a short discussion at the reception about this but the lady at the front desk quickly and kindly solved the “dispute” about our request to have two beds and not one in the above mentioned room type.

Beautiful, very comfortable bed, and helpful friendly staff. Also, after we left our passports and games in the room, the hotel management immediately notified us, and then sent the items to us at our next hotel for no charge. Excellent communication.

Superb

Very peaceful for a hotel situated in the town centre of Waterloo. Very convenient for the Wellington museum and shops. Garden, particularly at back was nice. Surprised to see a fox sun bathing on the lawn! Breakfast was very good.

Fantastic short break

The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. There were lots of options for breakfast. The location was great, close to the main street with the shops and restaurants. I love the outdoor spaces where you can sit and chill outside as the weather was lovely. There was also free car parking and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
