Perfect place to stay for your trip to Rennes

Excellent location for visiting, close to both tourist sites and train station, with a metro station two minutes away. Plenty of space in room. Extremely comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and superb breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for those who want to stay for a few days in Rennes or just pass through for one night.

A very satisfactory and relaxing stay at an excellent hotel in a beautiful city.

I know this hotel well having stayed there on previous occasions, including with a former work colleague (and also my wife). know it to be well situated, giving first class accommodation and facilities including secure city centre car parking. I shall continue to use the Anne de Bretagne whenever I visit Rennes.

I have no points of dis-satisfaction.

A good value accommodation in an excellent location.

The location is perfect, the room comfortable & the staff pleasant.

The hotel reception was closed & the hotel was locked until 16:00 hrs. This was inconvenient as we were unable to Check-In. We were also disappointed that the hotel restaurant was closed because it was a Sunday. The hotel has no air conditioning. This meant we needed the room windows open to keep the temperature cool. However, from about 04:00 our sleep was disturbed by loud road noise.

it was within walking distance of the medieval part of town and the railway station. the room was very comfortable.

Good and pleasant stay, big room but costly.

We had a family room for 5 nights. Very good location but a little bit far from the touristic central places. Nice restaurants around, and good shopping centers. We preferred the no breakfast option. Many options are 1 minute around from french toast with homemade bread to croissants and coffee. Evenings are nice restaurants open but also options for various food types. When coming for minutes the car could be parked in front of the hotel. The garage has an elevator connected to the rooms and reception. Cleaning was OK but started too early sometimes and needed to postpone. The garage with limited places for 15E night. Supplementary, parking Colombier. Some reception staff is not English speaking, however, very friendly and try to find solutions by translating their words with google translate. Rennes is a nice city, worth visiting surroundings up to Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo.

It was a little too expensive for a family room with 10 years child. The garage has limited places and last day we have to move our car to parking Colombier. The french style system with the toilet in a very small cabinet with no washing possibilities but to open other 2 doors to move in the bathroom where the sink is.

Good location for the town center and all the sight seeing in Rennes.

The hotel was very good for a city break, just out of the center but within easy walking distance. The car park has a very tight entrance / exit and restricted parking bays, book this in advance. If you have a large car you may struggle to use the parking.

Relaxing in Rennes

Big room for France standards. Good breakfast. Cold Air Conditioning. Had a problem with someone smoking in an adjacent room and they kicked them out. Well done!

I'd stay again.

It was boiling hot and the air con here worked great! The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, the breakfast was quite good for a three-star. It is walking distance (for me at least) to everything and buses and metro are a couple of blocks away. The grotty rug really needs to be replaced as it brings the whole place down.

It could use a reno in some areas, like the rug.

Convenient and comfortable if unexciting hotel

The location of the hotel was very convenient - only 10 minutes from the main train station and close to the city center as well. The room was large and it was nice to have a minibar/fridge. The staff were friendly and helpful, and very quick to respond to requests. The breakfast was varied and worth the price.

The hotel furniture and atmosphere is quite functional but lacks character, as does the immediate neighborhood around the hotel. This is not a problem, but if you are looking for a special or memorable hotel experience you should go elsewhere.

The position of the hotel is quite good, there is a parking inside or in alternative one very close. The double room comfortable but not exactly clean. The carpet was dirty and worn out with spider net on the ceiling

the parking. there’s a better larger parking at columbine. the hotel’s own parking was more expensive and the entrance was very tight and difficult to use
