This is a beautiful hotel in a great location to explore the shops and walking. We loved our room. It was very comfortable, easy to move around in with plenty of storage and nice bathroom. The amenities were of luxury quality. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning. We loved that you could order your eggs to your preference. We loved the location and drove to other areas to explore, which was wonderful. We drove in and the parking was iffy. We had to park a couple blocks away. We didn't have any problem with damage to the car, which was great. It was a pay block and cost isn't bad because you don't pay after 9 pm or before 9 am. Our cost was around 3 euros a day.

Parking is challenging, we were there in Nov so it wasn't so busy but still had a challenge finding a spot.

Luxury in a very visitable city

First nights room we were lucky enough to be able to check in early after a big 24 hours of travel. It had lots of space and a big table and 2 chairs. Huge shower and separate toilet. On our return night the room was smaller and only one chair. The bar was great and good service. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was the best we found on our 3 weeks in France. The restaurant was also delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were allowed to leave our luggage while we travelled around the region for 6 days which was really convenient.

Smoke alarm went off twice (once in the middle of the night) during our first stay and we had to evacuate only to find out it was set off with hotel guests smoking. The spa was very crowded.

Beautiful hotel but outrageous prices at the bar

The room was cosy and clean. Spa was nice.

So I ordered a cafe latte in the downstairs bar without checking the menu. Upon check-out I was charged 15 euros for a capsule coffee machine latte. I was sure it must have been an accident and asked the reception to check it and yes, the price was correct. I felt this was an outrageous price for a cup of coffee. Sadly, this left a bad taste of the entire stay.

Superb hotel but don't come by car.

A delightful place with delightful staff. We arrived with car which is, in Rennes, an inadvisable thing to do. Spent an hour driving in circles round the inpenetrable one way systems, not more than a couple of hundred yards from hotel. Eventually parked in a space and walked there, somewhat frazzled and bad tempered. They were absolutely delightful. One of them volunteered to go and get the car. Got it. Sorted it. Wow! Hotel itself is lovely. Very elegant. All the right bits in the right places. Close to centre of town. Nothing to dislike. Everything to like.

Hotel itself is great. However if you have a car I would suggest perhaps Rennes is best avoided as they take the concept of hostility to car drivers to a different and somewhat ridiculous level.

Good position

Our room was small there was only room for 1 case and we had 2. The staff forget to send up our cases so we were without them until we reminded them. Food and alcohol were very expensive

Splendid - except the problem as mentioned

This should be private to the management. We ezperienced several bedbug bites diring our stay 😳 But given the otherwise excellent stay did not want to explicilty mention it to reception- obviously embarrassing. I had an aternoon nap because of the heat - my companion worked - so it was quite obvious the next morning when we had similar bitemarks.

Memories were made in a beautiful city with exceptional accomidation

Came to Renne to attend a concert. Hotel a 2 minute walk away . Also central to all areas of interest in Renne , old town . Would recommend the art museum a short walk from the hotel

All in all the perfect stay to relax and enjoy good food.

All was good and the staff was very helpful smiling, and this is really a Hotel you want to come back to. The only thing that could be better is the opening time in the SPA that should have started earlier and have been open longer.

Excellent hotel in the Centre of Rennes

The hotel is within a short walking distance of many of the key places of interest. There are also a number of restaurants in the vicinity. We were visiting Rennes for a weekend. The hotel was approximately a 15mins walk from the main railway station and easy to locate. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel decor is modern and tasteful and very cosy. Our room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities necessary for a good stay. Although we didn’t use the Spa, as we had limited time, we did have a look at it and were impressed. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel and would recommend it to others.

All in all fabulous- wished I had another day!

Not to far from the train. 15 min walk. The sensory spa is fabulous after a long day followed by a fabulous dinner at the restaurant. Leo the waiter was wonderful! The room is comfortable and very quiet.

At checkout the reception charged me twice what it should have been. It took about 15 min to correct and I had to get to the Gare…it seemed to take too long.
