Balincourt

Balincourt, is a quaint Guest House located conveniently to the Town and Seaside. Beautiful kept gardens and the rooms are spacious and lovely decorative and very clean. The Breakfast in the morning was great, plenty to choose from the menu. The staff member Aggie was amazing, with serving us our breakfast every morning and always with a smile. Harps made the English breakfast every morning and it was delicious. Plenty of parking which was great.

Clean and comfortable rooms ,friendly staff and plenty of choice for breakfast . Parking was a bonus .

Can’t think of anything not to like .

Good position for the beach. Lovely old building. Staff were positive and helpful

Parking was tight. Carpets in the room were stained and needed a clean and the blinds didn’t fit fully, daylight shined in through the gaps in the early morning.

I booked 2 rooms. We were allocated room 1 ground floor. Informed this was the cooler room. The other was room 8 1st floor. Both rooms were spacious. However, room 8 had undergone gone renovation so was overall modern, lovely bathroom. It was very warm due to the current temperatures in the UK. The initial fan in the room was ineffective. However the owner did respond to our request and changed it the foll day. Tea coffee biscuits plentiful. Bottled water in room. Due to temp again would have been nice if it was chilled. Plenty or choice for breakfast. Quality & nicely cooked. Room 1 didn't compare to room 8. Decor old and tired looking, shower room looked grubby. We paid the same rate for both rooms which didn't seem fair? Owner was pleasant on hand. Although she seemed to be under pressure. Elderly lady serving breakfast on 1st day was exceptional. Young person next day very good too. Location bus stop almost right outside. 10 mins journey to Bournemouth pier. Overall we enjoyed our stay. But think there is room for improvement.

Room 1 didn't compare to room 8. Decor old and tired looking, shower room looked grubby. We thought it was over priced.
