Terrible experience with staff

Location

I booked this place to be paid by card before I even arrived, however, they did not charge me. So I arranged for the check-in between 12-13 and the guy left before our arrival with the instructions on how to check in. I thought no worries they’ll charge me through Booking.com as per my booking indicates. Then the fuzz started and they called me over and over as if I was trying to run from the bill, meanwhile I was still enjoying my holiday with my family. Furthermore they wanted me to sent my credentials directly to them, which I am pretty sure goes against the policies of booking.com, but at least for the EU laws on GDPR. We both escalated to booking.com, but he escalated it as if we tried to run from the bill, while the booking was made to be charged by booking.com and he had left himself before we arrived and was not there when we checked out. Therefor with this kind of behavior I can not recommend this place, I don’t know what their agenda is, but I fixed the payment after that and complained to booking.com

Great place at the right price!

The property is very well located, within close proximity to the train station, providing convenient access to Cinque Terre. A return ticket for adults costs approximately €27. The accommodation offers private parking, which was particularly valuable as we were travelling with a fully loaded car and appreciated the easy access. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning and a refrigerator.

Great location walking distance from the train station. Great staff who were super helpful and carried our luggage up the stairs. Quiet and comfortable. There is a great shop that sells everything you need nearby. Restaurants in walking distance.

Great place!

The room was beautiful, super clean and practical. It had a nice balcony and bathroom as well. Everything was new and worked perfectly. The room is cleaned every day if you wish. The owner was easy to reach and any question was answered quickly. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walking from the train station and from the start of the main street. You don't hear cars or trains.

The noise of the guests in the room next to us was quite loud and woke me up early in the morning.

Davide was wonderful, very informative and communicated well. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Very close to the centre of town and the train station.

The mattress was firm, but this did not bother me too much.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and handy. Best in price. Excellent location: train station 3 min, supermarket 2 min, historical center with restaurants 5 min. Good access by car and parking in the gate next door. The host is probably the most kind-hearted man in Spezia: he has advice, ways and solutions for every situation.

Good base for cinque terre

Location was very convenient, near the train station and main street with restaurants etc. An ideal base for exploring the cinque terre.

It is located on a very quiet street, so I don't think I would walk there alone at night. The room is located in an apartment block so the entrance way is quite dark and dingy. Other people live in the block so lots of noise of people on the stairs and a baby crying a lot. We didn't have a great sleep. The bathroom could have been cleaner too.

Thoroughly recommended

Calm, quiet & generally comfortable, my room was furnished to a very high standard & always impeccably clean. It was only a few minutes walk to the train station & the city & food options were just a short distance. WiFi was excellent, there was a large bed & the owner spoke excellent English & able to provide some assistance if required. La Spezia is an excellent option for visiting Cinque Terra

European beds are almost always very firm- & this was no exception & the only negative factor in what was otherwise a very comfortable stay. Perhaps a mattress topper would help?

Real Rooms - the BEST place to stay!

Excellent place to stay. It exceeded my expectations, with the facilities, size, quietness & cleanliness of rooms. Everything is provided, staff went out of their way to make my stay wonderful. Smooth & efficient check in with Andrea, who was always there for any advice about local sightseeing. The room was ready as soon as I arrived, which was lovely! Location is outstanding, with the train station within easy walking distance, as is the rest of La Spezia. I highly recommend Real Rooms to anyone wanting to visit Cinque Terre & all of Liguria. Thank you, Andrea, for a really fantastic & comfortable stay in a beautiful region of Italy.

EVERYTHING! The location is a perfect home base to explore Cinque Terre, the train station is 2 minute walk, the shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk. The room was clean, bathroom well equipped and the host was super helpful with providing information about the area. Definitely going back again!
