Outstanding value for money, brilliant location and service beyond service!

Everything was excellent. The period building from 1868 was outstanding, the location, the breakfast, but most importantly I met the owners Andrea and Grant who have now become my friends:). I thought they had an automatic door on arrival, but Andrea opened the door and said you must be........ After that short welcome, I felt like royalty!

A gem of a place for a relaxing break in Inverness

What a find this place is. Fabulous location for Inverness and the range of tours to Loch Ness and beyond. Park up your car and you can walk everywhere. The guest house is spotlessly clean and the rooms comfortable. We had the four poster room and the mattress was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The Highland breakfast is a must. It kept me going all day until dinner. Lovely fresh ingredients. And the hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Will be our first choice for any future visits to the area.

Magical!

From the moment we arrived we were absolutely entranced by the location, the welcome, our room and all the surrounds. It was magical! The staff made us feel so welcome and made us feel at home. The restaurant is 5 star! Delicious meals were served in a beautiful dining room.

Great location for easy access to city centre. Our room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the breakfast selection.

The bathroom was a bit small but given the age of the house this wasn’t unexpected.

Andrea and her husband were wonderful hosts. They had useful information about the area for planning day trips. We were also able to customize our breakfast every morning.

Lovely bed&breakfast in Inverness with attention to detail

I loved my stay at Ardmeanach house! It’s beautifully located across the river and only a couple of minutes walk away from the city centre. The room was really comfortable and cosy with a lot of attention to detail. Andrea, the host, was really lovely and helpful and made me feel welcome! Breakfast was made freshly every morning and had very traditional but also vegetarian friendly options. The house was quiet and located in a beautiful part of the city. I felt really at home during my stay and can only recommend it :).

Amazing stay highly recommended

Felt so welcome ... Amazing stay, the grounds and building is just exceptional. Quiet and tranquil, slept with the windows open to the sound of the birds and nothing else. So peaceful. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept on. (Four poster room) The room was immaculate so clean. Hosts were so accommodating and pleasant. Even rescued me with a steamer for my creased dress. We will definetly be staying here when we visit family up in Inverness. Thanks again ❤️

Lovely, perfect stay except for the uncomfortable mattress and pillows.

Well located, charming and beautiful home & room. Loved our hostess, Andrea. She is an awesome chef as well, our cooked to order breakfast was spectacular.

Excellent place to stay!

our room was quiet, comfortable and clean our room was on the ground floor but felt very secure (and we had no stairs to lug suitcases up - yay!) the breakfast was excellent our host (Andrea) was very friendly and she gave us excellent directions to cheap petrol and to some nearby attractions we didn't know about (eg Cromarty and its tiny tiny car ferry!) free private parking well off-street only fifteen minutes walk (on suburban streets) into Inverness city

Everything! Well appointed rooms with lovely attention to detail - right down to a bowl of various plug converters for international guests. Very clean, comfortable beds and a great breakfast! Fabulous location and very friendly hosts. Good value for money.

A perfect little Inverness B&B, well-located, comfortable and friendly.

A lovely place which I was very lucky to get at the last minute. Great location, beautifully-decorated, particularly the stunning dining room. I had a single room which was perfect for my needs, and the bed was really cosy. I had a lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. No complaints at all from me!

Superb

The property is on the quiet side of Inverness in a residential area. It is a short walk from the other busier side of the river and is perfect for the night's rest. I had a spacious room with 2 single beds. Three was everything I needed. Andrea is a wonderful and accommodating host. Generous and very tasty breakfast. I wish I'd noticed earlier that there was 1 sausage portion which was a bit obscure on the menu as a variation of the standard double sausage one:-)

I probably could have enjoyed a larger blanket. But that could be just a personal preference.

Accomodatiin was spotless, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Hosts were welcoming helpful but not overbearing. Breakfast was terrific, loads of choice and plenty of options for a non cooked option (or starter) if preferred Would recommend without hesitation and hope to visit again

Lovely hotel, lovely owner and a good location.

The hotel is lovely, the room was first class, the hotel manager was very nice and vey helpful, location is a ten minute walk from the center of Inverness, very good accomodation.
