Nice hotel located on the edge of Porto Montenegro

Location was good at the edge of Porto Montenegro. The terrace room was comfortable with nice views. But the lower floor rooms also have small balconies for breathing space so next time I will check rates and decide. Breakfast was surprisingly fine. I will stay here again during winter when I dont want or need beach access.

I think I was just unlucky that the lift wasnt working and I had reserved a room with a balcony which were 3rd floor rooms.

Design of room, location and breakfast were good.

Quality of staff was overall not good. Some receptionists were very helpful and some didn't. For example, I've ordered taxi transfer to the airport via reception and they've sent me unofficial driver who charged me three times more (20 euros) than usual taxi using taximeter (7.5 euros) which I used when I arrived from the airport. When I complained from the airport via phone to the hotel, another receptionist told me that it was normal price, that he is surprised that it can be cheaper by taximeter and that it is my responsibility that I've asked for taxi via them and that I didn't organize it by myself. He didn't allow any possibility that it was their fault. Elevator didn't work during whole stay even they announced that it will be solved next day.

We had a wonderful view of the water. The sauna was lovely. The location was wonderful. The breakfast was good.

The elevator was not in service. The gentleman at reception could not recommend any local tourist spots to see.

Relaxing days in Tivat

Perfect location on Pine with sea view. Extremely friendly staff plus a lovely cat in the lobby. Spacious and modern super clean room. Breakfast really good with huge amount of options to choose.

Lovely location, but beware of ordering taxi with reception.

Location was fabulous, room was lovely.

We asked reception to order us a taxi into town. We jumped in the taxi and were pulled over by police getting into Kotor. We had to hand our IDs over to the police and were made to get out of the car. We were told by the police that it wasn’t a real taxi, it was very uncomfortable.

Pleasant Stay

Location .. in the middle of the porto .. surronded of the cafes , restaurants , shops , atm , supermarkets .. Nice view 😍 Good breakfast Helpful staff And there were only one thing i would like to mention .. DO not buy from the pharmacy behind the hotel .. they stole my wallet !! No swimming pool .. but you can book in beach clubs or renting sunbeds in the beaches 🫶🏼

Perfect location, comfortable room - very happy

Very happy with my choice of Hotel Pine due to its great location on the picturesque Tivat waterfront, close to the town centre, and only a few kilometres from Tivat airport. A good starting point for my holiday in Montenegro, with the relaxed Tivat atmosphere and a Boka Bay cruise boat departing right outside the hotel. My room was very comfortable with plenty of storage space and a writing desk. The toiletries were of great quality and very pleasant to use. Maria at the reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and looked after. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with all sorts of wonderful savoury and sweet culinary creations. However, I would have liked some simple muesli and yoghurt to be included. Each evening I enjoyed a swim in the crystal clear water just off the promenade. I ended up extending my stay by an extra two nights, including the night before my departure due to the hotel’s proximity to the airport. During the first five nights I enjoyed a quiet Mountain View room with a large terrace with table and chairs. On my last night I was offered a room with beautiful sea views, but I could hear noise from the restaurants and promenade below until late. I recommend Hotel Pine.

Bathroom, bed very comfortable.

TV was intermittent. Balcony overlooked next door property not the mountain view promised. Breakfast was a diabetics nightmare. Very sweet items dominated the buffet.

Perfect spot to relax unwind and watch the world go by whilst eating good food and being waited on by friendly staff.

The position of the hotel was perfect with great views across the bay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and the restaurant good was excellent as were the buffet style breakfasts with a vast range of food

Fantastic location.

The hotel is in a perfect location - just on the edge of the main part of Porto Montenegro, and with a stunning view of the sea. The hotel Reception staff are very friendly and keen to make sure you have a good stay. The hotel has recently been refurbished.

Definitely not 4 stars

Great location, close to a lot of shops, bars and restaurants, and just next to the sea.

The room looked knackered with old furniture and carpet that looks like it’s been there for decades. The air conditioning is controlled centrally and did not work even after several phone calls to the reception. It was obvious that they kept turning it down to save money. The breakfast was cramped in a small corner and had a lot of sweet food for dessert but not enough hot food options and no hot food for vegetarians (no mushrooms, no beans, no porridge). Also, nothing was covered… a large family came around and they were talking a lot on the food with saliva flying around all the opened food. At least cover the scrambled eggs and bacon to keep them warm considering those were the only decent hot meals. In a nutshell, not sure how this is a 4 star hotel… not as good as some 3 star rated hotels I’ve stayed in.

Geat stay

Great roof top balcony with views to the bay. Spacious room with nice interior. Many pastries and desserts to select from at breakfast. Free parking close by.

Superb

We spent a fantastic week in Hotel Pine. Its location is fantastic, just on the promenade next to the Kotor bay, with a view on the water. All restaurants and cafés on the promenade are full in the morning and evening hours, it was great to see such a buzzling life there. While the hotel has no beach or pool, the nearest city beach is just a few minutes walk away. A parking lot is available (free for the hotel guests) 50 meters from Pine. Tivat's location is central if you want to visit Kotor, Perast, Herceg Novi, Budva, the Blue Cave, the Plavi Horizonti beach (a.k.a. Przno beach) etc. Receptionists, waiters are all lovely, helpful people. We got the option for a 10% discount provided that we paid in cash (ATM is nearby).

The operation of the air conditioning was sometimes difficult to control.
