A lovely hotel in a beautiful building with amazing sea virws

We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Water was free but one small bottle each wasn't quite enough but when we asked for more it wasn't a problem. The air-conditioning was perfect as was the bathroom. The view from the room was amazing but as it wasn't big enough for a chair we could only stand and people watch. It was worth paying extra for the sea view room as the mountain view rooms overlook a busy car park and the early morning bin collection is a wake up call you just dont need on holiday. The breakfast was a la carte and the portions were good and the food was delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. The location was a short walk to the shopping area and many restaurants which was great because it wasn't noisy at night. We spent most days on the sunbeds by the sea, there was quiet music which was a bit repetitive. There was a public area next to this and there were boys playing football but it didn't really affect us as they were well mannered when the ball did happen to come over near us. We did eat in the restaurant on two occasions and we would probably give a score of 8/10 due to the fact it was a little expensive but not amazing. In fact most of the local restaurants were highly priced with egos to match.

The breakfast area on the decking was a little tired and in one or two places needed some work and one of the sunbeds collapsed when sat on. Maybe some money could be spent to update this area.

Fantastic stay at La Roche!

Incredibly well located, close to everything. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view out of the rooms. Would absolutely stay again.

A couple of the light switches were broken and could do with replacing. There is some wear and tear that if addressed would make it exceptional rather than just great, but it certainly doesn’t take away from the place.

BEYOND EXPECTATION....EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL....

From the moment we found this truly fabulous hotel EVERYTHING was just WONDERFUL! The hotel is so peaceful...just far enough from the madding crowd!....but close enough for a wander out to other bars, restaurants...and a few shops... The view from our (upgraded) room was beyond expectation....the room itself was stunning...large, using gentle decor colours and a super large black & white marble bathroom....quite dramatic! Breakfast really was exceptional! AND....served until 11.30am!...very civilised when one is on a chill out break! We had FREE parking for the duration of our stay....makes a pleasant change! We ate dinner there three times in the week we were staying and that was always a simply beautiful experience! The staff at this hotel ....in particular Jouana, Nadja and (main man Marcus in the restaurant area) were outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble! English is widely spoken in Montenegro...

Only one tiny gripe really... Whilst the room really was beautiful it was not well lit.....yes, there were plenty of lights...but none strong enough when trying to do ones hair and make up!

Fabulous Boutique hotel with amazing Staff

Hotel was recently renovated, clean with a beautiful view and rooftop swimming pool. Our room was very spacious, regularly cleaned and the staff were top notch. They were amazingly polite and welcoming. A 10/10 rating for me.

Perfect hotel

It was perfect! From the very beginning of our arrival we felt incredible attention, assistance and kindness from the reception girl (she’s unbelievable 🥺❤️, sadly we forgot her name). Atmosphere, room, restaurant, beach, pool and everything all were unbelievable. Also, we were celebrating our’s beloved person birthday, so they made a surprise. It was the best idea to choose this hotel, we hope to come back here 🤍

Great hotel in the perfect location.

This hotel was clean and the room we had was spacious and very clean. The view from the balcony, priceless. Its location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to the hub of the harbour. Restaurants nearby are very pricey and we found the food average. Loved the breakfasts and private beach with the beds with wrap around shade. We idea of heaven. The pool area is small but perfect for a late afternoon swim and chill. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.

The property is beautiful, clean and most of the staff is exceptional.

The pool was not available for use, and they didn’t let me know that at check in. Being that I was traveling with 3 children the pool was a big deal to me. The receptionist blamed the weather however we came to find out that they were having a private event and she lied to us.

A truly exceptional and heartfelt stay — luxurious, personal, and unforgettable from start to finish

Our stay at La Roche Hotel in Tivat was absolutely exceptional. We booked the two-bedroom suite for our family (2 adults and 2 kids), and it exceeded every expectation. The suite was elegant, spacious, and luxuriously appointed — just like the photos. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the marble bathroom with a rainfall shower felt indulgent, and everything was impeccably clean and well maintained. The views from the room were stunning — overlooking the Adriatic and the marina, with magical sunsets every evening. It was the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience: right by the water, yet just a short walk to the town center and Porto Montenegro. Each morning, breakfast by the sea was a highlight. A delicious mix of à la carte dishes and fresh local ingredients, served with warmth and attention. The rooftop pool was small but perfect for our 10-year-old — he loved it. What made this stay truly unforgettable was the personalized care and thoughtfulness from the team. A few examples: We arrived early (9:00 AM) after a morning flight — well before the 3 PM check-in. Breakfast was still being served, and the hotel graciously offered it to us that day in place of our final day’s breakfast. On our departure day, we had to leave at 6:30 AM before breakfast hours — and the team prepared two complimentary breakfast bags for our kids. One morning we returned late from an eye appointment — well past breakfast hours — and they still served us with a smile. Special thanks to Marco, Julia, and the front desk team — incredibly kind, professional, and always ready with helpful local tips. Everything about La Roche felt personal and heartfelt. If you're visiting Tivat and want something truly special, La Roche is the place. We can’t wait to return.

A relaxing family stay with friendly staff, great breakfast, and a perfect-sized pool for young kids.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with fresh and delicious set menu options. We loved that we often had the pool to ourselves – it was perfect for the kids since they didn’t want to swim in the ocean. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Exceptional stay

Hotel was set in a beautiful quiet location, overlooking the bay with amazing views. It really was exceptional and our room was so comfortable, spacious & lovely. All staff were very friendly & nothing was any trouble. We also appeciated the twice daily check ups of room amenities (we requested bottled water). Breakfast was excellent with a great choice & great views as we chose to sit outside.

We expected there to be a private beach but found it wasnt open yet but no big deal, as there was more&better things to do. We had a fabulous stay & would love to come back..

Fabulous luxurious stay in a perfect location.

Hotel in a perfect location with a fabulous view of the sea from our room. Only a 10 min walk to main areas with bars and restaurants. Fabulous breakfast made to order and served in the restaurant or on the patio on warmer days. The best thing about this hotel were the staff. They were always smiling and were very helpful with our queries and booking taxis. The lady that worked in the spa was fabulous- would definitely recommend a massage with her.

Room service always came when we had the do not disturb sign on.

Wonderful luxury hotel

Our stay at this beautiful hotel was nothing short of exceptional. It really lives up to the 5 star rating. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, they all made us feel like we were special, which was lovely. The food was wonderful at breakfast and for evening meals , with lots to choose from. Our room overlooked the sea, and the views were absolutely stunning. It was also spotlessly clean with housekeeping coming twice daily, and very spacious. As the hotel is on the main promednade, there are lots of bars and restaurants close by with magnificent views of the bay. We loved this hotel so much , we can't wait to return again soon.
