Great place to stay

We loved this place. Ziga and his mother were wonderful hosts. The Vila is warm, inviting and very comfortable. It is a short walk from town but just far enough to be out of the noise and traffic. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of things to do in the area

A quiet but convenient place in an expensive town.

It included a nice breakfast, including a full continental spread and omelettes. It was a short walk down to the lake and downtown. The proprietor was more than helpful about places to avoid, things to do, etc.

The cost was a bit high, but it seems that most places in Bled are priced high. It is an expensive place to visit. VL was not outrageous by any means.

Perfect three day stay

We liked our stay at Vila Laura very much. It’s a clean and comfortable place , also the location and proximity to the lake is great. We appreciated goodies in our fridge upon arrival. Žiga is very welcoming and friendly host and His mom Vlasta is a great cook- loved her scrambled eggs and sausage. together with Žiga they’re a perfect team. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A gorgeous gem in Bled

Our hosts were the kindest, most accommodating people we could’ve ever asked for! The location was great, the room was very clean and modern.

Amazing location, really comfortable accomodation and super friendly hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Laura. Ziga was so accommodating, helpful and friendly it really made our stay. Nothing was too much for him or his mum. Breakfast was lovely and there was a wide variety to choose from. The property was well maintained, clean and in a beautiful location. Our room was very spacious and easily fitted our family of four (2 adults and 2 children 9,10) There was parking on site as well as outside gardens available for use. A very short walk to lake Bled.

We had an amazing two days at vila Laura. Loved the location and the incredible host who made us feel so welcome

Fantastic location a short walk from Bled centre - not far at all. Huge rooms with super comfy beds and air con which was vital in the hot weather. The breakfast is delicious with one of the most yellow and delicious omelettes I’ve ever had. Lovely touch with small fridge in each room with cold drinks. Ziga was fantastic, so helpful with room arrangements for the family and local tips for visits and swims.

Hospitality and beauty of the Villa Laura was the best of our trip so far!

The most friendly staff Zhiga and his mother were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the breakfasts were over the top delicious. The complementary drinks including local beer in the fridge was so convenient that especially coupled with the beautiful location and garden in which to relax and see the mountains and flowers. We had a wonderful time in bled and this was a big reason. Host recommendations to raft was a favorite of our family!

Vila Laura has been a highlight of our Slovenian accommodation. Ziga and his mum were generous hosts who provided a warm welcome to their comfortable attractive building in a beautiful and quiet location. The sumptuous breakfast was a highlight. The common areas were a delight with access to tea, coffee and some snacks throughout the day.

Excellent stay in family-run pension exceeded our expectations!

Excellent experience - Villa Laura is in the quiet part on the edge of Bled - but as Bled is a small town everything is in walking distance. Žiga was excellent host - providing all information needed and welcoming hospitality. Nice apartment with a balcony, everything was clean. And I have to mention - very good mattresses! Breakfast prepared by Žigas mother was delicious.

Vila Laura had a luxurious home away from home feeling

Vila Laura was a highlight of our Europe trip. The house had everything we needed and the lovely host went the extra mile to help us with everything. Great location, only 5 minutes walk to the lake. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was extremely tidy and clean. The highlight was the delicious breakfast cooked by our hosts mother. As well as the cooked element there was also an open buffet of cold food. The grounds of the house were also amazing. Hopefully we’ll be back. Thank you!

A gem in Bled

Breakfast was amazing and every day you get something different. Ziga is the best host that you could imagine. The house is very peaceful and near to the lake. We walked from there to the main spots in Bled. Our room was spacious and bathroom newly renovated. You can chill in the backyard if you like and the house is amazing.

Wonderful place and hospitality

Vila Laura is a beautiful accommodation with an excellent location. Owner Ziga and his mother are exceptional hosts - very helpful, generous, very accessible and with a constant smile. The villa itself is beautifully decorated - every detail is thoughtful and gives the guests a real feeling of home away from home. Room and bed are very comfortable, bathroom and shower are modern and everything is very clean. The breakfast was excellent in a beautiful dining room with a wonderful view. Hospitality is exceptionally generous - hot and cold drinks as well as snacks and fruits available and free all day and night, packet free minibar (soft drinks) in the room, free upgrade (!!) when available - and all from the heart. Vila Laura is a highly recommended place to stay as a base for a vacation in Bled and the Triglav region.

This is utterly a wonderful place with super nice hosts and service. There is not even one item to dislike there. If we will have another visit to Bled, it will definitely be our first selection for the stay.

Brilliant place to stay.

Great location for restaurants, biking, running, sight-seeing. The hosts are super accommodating, helpful and friendly. We were able to use the spacious garage to build and store our bicycles. One of our party had allergens and the hosts were very good in providing alternative foods despite us not giving them any prior notice! The rooms were lovely - modern and spotlessly clean. The shower was amazing! Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. On the edge of town and very peaceful but only a few mins walk from the lake.

Our room was large and very comfortable. It even had a chair that was comfortable for my 6’3” husband.

No WiFi while we were there. There was some sort of problem and we never could join it.

Fantastic accommodation at Lake Bled

Vila Laura is amazing. The rooms, terrace and dining room are immaculate and beautiful. Our room was enormous and had every thing we could want and more (fully stocked fridge, abundant towels, sitting area). The breakfast, service and facilities were excellent and available throughout the day. The best part was however was the service from Ziga and his mother who made breakfast. Enthusiastic, full of great suggestions and incredibly attentive. Our favourite stay on our three month trip.

Right place to stay for Bled lake and Vintgar.

Very nice and comfortable, big room, perfectly equipped, nice clean bathroom, fridge content included in price. Great breakfast. Hosts were one of the best I experienced till now, any wish fulfilled before even spoken out. Location green, quiet, clean ... signs for incomming way (small street) good marked. City center and the lake - 10 mins relaxed walking.
