Enjoyed stay..hotel needs update

A nice basic hotel

The location is good, food is ok - a little bland and not a great deal of variation, but you wont go hungry

The lifts are a nightmare and if you are on the 7th floor its a maze to the room and steps included (not good with heavy luggage)

Short trip to Benidorm

Comfortable beds.

Didn’t get the room we booked. Reception staff were unhelpful and surly. Corridor flooded twice with the water running in under the door to our room. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the room.

Staff was amazing, Especially manger. She upheld our query and upgraded our stay. Staff was always helpful despite our demands. Thank you all guys for making our stay special.

We didn't look location, room view, and hotel being bit outdated But staff kindness and extra benefits did make it all worth it.

Bed was quite comfortable

They way they handled payment when I booked though booking.com. Telling me to pay 50% though a link that did not work and if not paid hotel would be cancelled. Call numerous numbers in Spain costing me money to be told they can’t help phone another no when all they need to do was send a new link. When said it sounded like a scam they sent a link. Was definitely a scam to get me to cancel and loose the 50% I had already paid. Staff quite rude apart for one lady bar staff who was English and was lovely. Food was appalling.

It was just ok

The property was old and in need of a refurbished The lifts were very small and lots of disabled or elderly people using them being on the 4th floor you needed it. The room size was very small and looked like a shoe box with no balcony or view

Great location & got use of other hotels (magic Robin Hood , magic splash & magic rocks) so although pool not amazing here could visit others which was amazing

Came to this property 8 years ago and not one thing has been updated since, the lifts are still slow and have to wait 20 mins for one to arrive at busy times. Hotel rooms have not been updated at all, cracks in tiles, water damage to bottom of the doors. No balcony option was available which is depressing as the rooms are like prison cells. The all inclusive food was rubbish it was like tinned dog meat. Room cards don’t work constantly have to go back to reception to get them reactivated.

Worst hotel I’ve ever booked. Ruined our holiday.

Nothing. Do not book. I have stayed all over the world in both 2 star and 5 star and this hotel is not how the pictures look or what it says or priced at. we finally moved to a 4 star hotel in luxury round the corner called the Bristol for the same price.

Everything. We checked in and checked out within a few hours. There is no communication from the hotel regards to the refund we were promised. Customer service is shocking. Queues of people complaining. The smell of tobacco was overwhelming. Its like something out the 70s and smells damp and the furniture is literally rotten. We have been all over the world, stayed in 2 stars to 5 star. I have no idea how this hotel has a rating of 3 star. or such a high rating on booking.com as that’s why I booked. I have tried to contact over the phone and they pretend not to understand, they don’t respond to messages. Booking.com is also not getting a response from them. Or sorting the situation. The booking I made guaranteed 50% back. The manager told me we would receive 100% back. We are still waiting. I can still smell the hotel. It was literally rotten. The lifts are dangerous when they work. I was hit twice by the lift door while entering. Being disabled and having a lung condition the tobacco was very bad. the walk up the hill was also very difficult. The facilities are just as old and worn as the hotel decor and furniture.

Great Hotel & Location

Location, price, great friendly staff, clean and efficient, food has improved. Receptionist from Columbia, I call her Miss Columbia was a true ambassador and credit to the hotel, thanks for your help to all staff.

Food has still someway to go, very Spanish themed and I knownits a Spanish country and Spanish Hotel but should cater more for the British holidaymaker, gold cards were no longer given and are chargeable.

Location, price, friendly staff, food improved. Reception staff were great and Miss reception staff from Columbia was a tonic for the hotel and a great ambassador.

The divide between the Spanish and British guests (not the hotels fault). Maybe it was the time of year but 80% of the guests were elderly Spanish guests and we did have a lot of ‘looks’ as to how we were dressed of an evening.

Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable beds, great shower. Large choice of food.

Very busy. Long queues in the bar. only one bar for a pre dinner drink and one member of staff working for that whole huge hotel.

Menu was basically for all the Spanish pensioners and they are very rude and ignorant it was my 75 year old mum and her partner that stayed never again think there better than everyone else
