Nice and affordable hotel in Botafogo

What I didn’t like, was maybe the breakfast but it’s just small detail because I want fresh milk and I couldn’t get but everything was perfect

Comfortable and nice

It's a nice place to have a couple of nights. The rooms are small but comfortable. The breakfast is huge and with less ta of options.

The window of the room is too close to the corridor. The room has a weird smell when you come in.

Very friendly boutique hotel

The breakfast was robust and quite nice even up to the last minute it was open. The best part was the staff as they really wanted to engage and were extremely helpful.

The rooms were a bit small and the bottom floor didn't have much natural light

Don't stay in room 13 and you will be fine

The people are very friendly, especially Filipe. Breakfast was good and not interrupted suddenly at 10 as in other hotels

My room was next to a cleaning room so I woke up several times with the noise of the cleaning lady during my last hours of sleep

Great breakfast and value overall

The two gentlemen at reception were fantastic and went above and beyond in helping me make changes to my booking and providing information about the local area. Breakfasts on the two days of my stay were lovely. Shower is high pressure and awesome. Close walking distance to Botafogo bay.

Room is a bit small. Bed mattress is a bit too firm. Air conditioner in Room.3 not working. On the new reservation, I moved to a different room, air works as intended.

Amazing staff, but cleanliness is a big disadvantage

The place is central in Botafogo if you're interested in the area like me. The breakfast was also good. The staff is fabulous, especially Carlos, he helped me so much and was so nice and cooperative. They're really the best thing in the hotel.

They don't clean the rooms (no regular daily cleaning). This was super annoying for me because even the towels were not changed. I stayed there for 9 days, and they didn't come a single day. The spaces are quite tight, smaller than they appeared in the photo, but maybe that was just my room. The bread and bakery in the breakfast were not fresh. It also gets quite loud at night, so if you don't sleep easily, take an earplug because the rooms are not so isolated. Also, the hot water in the shower was not very stable, it made it a bit difficult for me to take showers, but if you are okay with that, it's fine.

Very good

Very well located, two blocks to the subway and from there, a short ride everywhere. Room was nice and clean and breakfast was also nice. It´s a basic, no nosense well decorated hotel, very adequated if you are spending the whole day away and only want a place to have a bath and sleep.

Veru, very small room, in need of some refurbishment. And they have a restaurant downstairs which makes a LOT OF NOISE, up untill midnight. If you are a light, early sleeper, it´s not the place for you. To be truthful, the noise died down on midnight.

a bit disappointing

location is okay but not the best, you still have to use metro or taxi to get around , breakfast is okay and the hotel has its own restaurant

room is very tiny (and bathroom too), and has no windows, air conditioning has to be on 24/7 otherwise air in the room would be awful and very hot, no cleaning service for 1 week staying, had to ask for towels by myself what’s is kinda weird for the whole week stay, the room and especially the floor was extremely dirty after 1 week because nobody cleaned it , staff asked my to pay for 1 coffee capsule which I just touched but did not use, it weird to take some really small money for using coffee machine in the room which has only 3 capsules around , I guess it could be for free or maybe there is no need to install coffee machine in room.

Pleasant

The hotel is centrally located in Botafogo, with the orla and the shopping mall at walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast offering is complete and diverse.

The staff was friendly but sometimes slow to respond, they stayed in a (clearly internal training) call when we were waiting for our check-in. The overall cleanliness of the lounge is not sufficient and it is also used as temporary storage location, which makes it look dense. The room was clean but the bathroom should have been cleaner.

The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good as well.

The room was small. I was afraid to hit something and break or get hurt. The showerhead hanging from the top was also uncomfortable, when not wanting to wet our hair.

Good value for money but very tight room

Value for money very good but few issues. The hotel is in a small street, not so loud. The manager is very attentive as well as the lady from the office . Breakfast quite good

All 3 gguys from the front desk are not attentive , they are fake attentive. At my arrive on friday evening was a very loud live music party at the reception, thankfully I could change the room in the 3th floor (my room was originall at the lobby level). But it was thou very unpleasant loud. I had a terrible experience, somebody got in into my room while I was having a walk and then breakfast and stole my vallet with my credit card. Fortunately I had all my values in the safe and no cash was stolen, only my vallet with credit card. Room was locked but the window was open. Could have been some staff or guest, God only knows
