La Finestra sulle Beccarie

Great location. Friendly host.

The central location yet so quiet. The private balcony. The coffee making facilities and little touches Maurizio offers such as cakes and the bottle of fizz upon arrival.

It’s obvious from the photos that there are very steep stairs to climb. Not a problem on a daily basis but definitely daunting with heavy suitcases. If Maurizio can help, he does but he isn’t there always upon departure. We appreciate his help. There were also quite a number of steps to the roof terrace and that is not fun carrying food and drinks. Luckily tho we had our own balcony so we stuck to that.

Location was amazing. Maurizio was very kind and helpful on arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The rooftop is gorgeous. Great AC, kitchen facilities and housekeeping.

Not a thing!

The junior suite apartment was modern and had everything we needed. They generously provided a complimentary bottle of bubbles which was a nice touch. There are modern communal kitchen and lounging areas and an incredible terrace. Best was the location. 2mins from the Rialto bridge with bars and restaurants all around. Maurizio is a lovely, proud host.

Nothing about the apartment. The stairs are super challenging with luggage. Narrow and very steep. There is a lift up the top which looks to be for luggage but it wasn’t communicated or offered. The terrace is through a small almost closet door, up stairs and then another door and more stairs (which you’d expect for a rooftop terrace). It can be noisy internally particularly in the room we had as people going to and from the terrace pass the room and they’re all just internal doors so no sound barrier. Hard to balance drinks, food and navigate to enjoy up there.
