Great location, fab traditional Venetian room with air-con that worked! We were there during the heatwave, but were comfortable in the room. Plenty of local bars and restaurants, very walkable area, but also close to the vaporetto on the Grand Canal in one direction and the ferry to Burano Island in the other.

The location was good, easy to reach, and the room was clean.
The room was not ok: the only window faced a narrow inner courtyard, leaving the space dark at all hours of the day. We had to keep the light on constantly. It is not right to offer guests a room with no natural light. On top of that, unpleasant odors often came from the courtyard, making it impossible to open the window for fresh air. We didn’t change hotels only because we were staying for two nights and didn't want to waste time, but the experience was a real disappointment.
