Foscari Palace

We booked three nights in the hotel in June 2026, the hotel’s location is amazing right on the grand canal and next to a water bus stop so very easy to reach, it also has a traghetto (a public gondola service you can pay 2 € per person and only cash and cross the grad canal to the other side) station right outside the hotel The breakfast was good but lacked an egg station where you can ask for an omelette or any other kind of eggs, but the breakfast tables are located just by the window with an amazing view of the grand canal so you can have breakfast with a great view, there are 3 tables located outside right on the canal but if you want to have breakfast there then you must pay extra, but after breakfast and throughout the day you can sit there and enjoy the views free, the staff were nice but not very smiley except a receptionist from Algeria who always smiled and was very nice, the room was big enough, and clean but a bit outdated, the water in the shower was weak, we had a room with no view (this was what we booked so we can’t complain) and Venice all and all was great and sightseeing was very easy because the water bus station was very close.

A little outdated, the water pressure was too weak in the shower, and the breakfast lacks an egg station.

Great location, lots of restaurants and shops in the area

Friendly staff, very beautiful central location at the Canal Grande (with a small terrace at the water), Vaporetto waterbusstop around the corner and ferry to the Mercato next door Lively local area, but still very quiet from the rooms

Our room didn’t have a view, but windows directly to the building next to it (2mtrs)
