The Georgian House

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the beautiful harbour town, Watchet. Upon arrival we were greeted by the housekeeper Sharon who was so warm and welcoming, as we stepped into the home we were taken away by the beauty and character of the house and our room. The room was a great size (the yellow room), with a comfortable bed and great, clean facilities. We enjoyed a truly fantastic breakfast on both mornings - a full English cooked to order, extra rounds of toast and preserves, fruit, yoghurt and cereal! We were truly spoilt. Keith the owner of this impressive place is a true gentleman, he made us laugh every morning! If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that is warm, inviting and adorned in every corner (the more you look the more you see!) this is the place. We were enamoured from start to finish. Thank you to the fantastic hosts for having us!

Nothing to not like, Sharon works continuously to ensure the comfort of the guests and Keith has done a fantastic job keeping the Georgian House a true, timeless, treasure.

The central location, the staff and lovely breakfast.Very comfortable bed too.

I have no complaints but maybe a good shower would be a nice idea for the room I was in.

Keith (the owner) and Sharon (his girl Friday) were amazing, so friendly and very helpful. They made sure I was comfortable and happy. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The furniture and pictures around the house were so interesting (at least to me!).

Location was great,food was wonderful.The house was beautiful full of gorgeous antiques.

Bedroom very dated,shower was dreadful,filled up with water Toilet was badly stained.Mattress badly stained.Kettle was black inside.
