The Purist Beach Nusa Ceningan

We stayed in the three bed village which is the heart of the three villa complex. It really is an incredible place with unparalleled views and access to the private beach. The villa itself is very comfortable with beautifully appointed furniture. The staff are warm and welcoming and the daily breakfast is a highlight. We had my mum’s 70th birthday here and The Purist put on the most incredible private dinner with the chef travelling from Ubud specially.

We travelled with two young children so entered with our eyes open. There is a restaurant next door, other than that it’s a steep walk up to the road and then it’s a walk in either direction for more options. The walk itself is fine it’s just the heat in the middle of the day! If you’re looking for somewhere private and quiet, great, but if you’re looking to explore the island and Nusa Lembongan then you’ll need a bike. Luckily it’s super easy to rent one (shout out to Alvin) We felt the villa could do with some maintenance and a deep clean to achieve the exceptional level claimed. It’s easy to forget about the bad though with the view, pool, and private beach.

The location and views are perfect. The pool onto the beach is fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was nothing we didn't like, but stairs from the property to the beach access would be a good addition. Not necessary, but helpful.
