Love Nusa Lembongan - so much to see and do. We absolutely would stay at Villa Waru One again.

Great, quiet, private location in close proximity to a number of tasty warungs. Jack and the team go above and beyond to welcome guests and create an amazing stay. We organised transport from the airport to the villa and back to Kuta and this was seamless. Communication about the stay and travel was excellent. We also organised scooters through Jack and he was extremely helpful. We went as a family of 6 adults and the accommodation worked well with various indoor and outdoor areas, in addition to private rooms where we could gather and have independent time.

AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT IT’S A SCAM. THEY STEAL CLIENT AT HOUSE WHEN YOU ARE NOT HERE

The establishment was very nice, right by the sea and well located. However, this is a place to avoid, because the listing is a scam. The owner, who manages the house, uses Booking to get reservations. But when you arrive, he doesn’t let you pay through Booking and wants you to pay directly on site. Even though the price is booked through Booking, he asks you for more money. On top of that, since you’re in Indonesia, he uses the excuse that if you don’t pay what he asks, he will call the police or close the rooms. Furthermore, after the stay, he notifies Booking that we never showed up so he doesn’t have to declare the stay to them and avoid paying a commission. This place should really be avoided.

Rustic charm

The villa is tucked away and private but with easy access to a stunning beach. The team of staff who look after the villa are great particularly Jack. The art work was lovely.

That it wasn’t possible to swim at the beach. Minor point - the sofas really need to be replaced but we rarely sat on them.

Magnificent spot and staff ( Jack especially) were so good. Breakfast each day was super yummy. Sandy Bay club next door was awesome and food excellent. Staff sorted great bikes for us. Pool area is fantastic

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

The location was right on the beach directly next door to the beach club. It was very private and quiet. I loved having our own private pool and all the bedrooms had their own bathrooom

Jack, the staff and everyone who we interacted with were so lovely and nice! They accomodated to our every need. Breakfast was good :) Sunset beach was awesome.

Was a little far from the main bit but didn’t really bother us. The kitchen was a little dated but we weren’t really used it, it was only used to cook the free breakfast by the staff

Lovely Villa in great location and lovely hosts.

Perfect location on the beach, beach though is too rough to swim at. Right next door to the Sandy Bay Beach club which had great food. Pool had shade which kept it cool for the hot Bali Sun. Jack and Kadek the hosts were fabulous organising anything we needed and provided a lovely breakfast each day.

A fun & relaxing stay

I absolutely loved our stay at Villa Waru One. Jack and the team were super helpful with lots of local knowledge, organising scooters and transfers for us and a tour of Nusa Penida. The amenities were perfect for us and the villa was well looked after and made up whenever we requested. Location is great for exploring.

No stress stay

This place is nice and on a good location, but what makes it exceptional are the guys that rent it… Jack took us to pharmacy when we needed medicine. He organized a snorkling day trip and all the transport on the island… also, their manager organized all our transports from previos stay to our next stay in Bali… all in all, we were very satisfied with the service here! Everything we needed, they provided. Also, breakfast in the villa was very nice!

Abholung, UnterbringungTransfer to accommodation, accommodation, support was really well organized. The staff are always helpful and very friendly. The location was good, even if this bay is not suitable for swimming. We felt very comfortable the whole time and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The pool needs to be overhauled. Sharp-edged floor tiles and pool lighting that didn't work spoiled the fun a little.

Beautiful beach villa with great service!

The location of the villa was amazing. It has a small entranceway into Sandy Beach and Sandy Beach Club, which leads to an easy way home after some night drinks. Jack (the villa manager) was extremely accommodating with hiring scooters and answering any questions regarding the island and the villa. The provided breakfast was well suited for the day (bread, scrambled eggs and banana pancakes + tea/coffee) and could be provided at any time that suited our schedule.

Metal surfaces were extremely prone to rust but is to be expected when it is so close to the ocean.

The location was wonderful. Loved that it was right on the beach and the beach club was next door. Food and cocktails at beach club we amazing! Villa had a wonderful pool. Beer fridge was full and kept drinks super cold!! Brekky was lovely.

The Booking.com price was high for the amount of days we stayed. Doors didn't lock at the property. Found it hard to lock the door to the street access. Had to walk to beach access to get out. Would have liked fresh pool towels each day. Beer fridge didn't close properly and made a terrible noise.

very noisy we could each other talk from seperate rooms with doors and windows shut- except for one window in my room which wouldn’t shut as it was broken- which lead to zero privacy even when you’re in the bathroom and being able to hear the beach club next door through the night and in the morning. I also didn’t like being charged an extra 600k for having 5 people there when we could sleep up to 8 as there were 4 rooms, because apparently I booked for 4 people and not 4 rooms

Family stay in Villa Waru One

The staff is super reliable, can organize pick up by car, activities, amazing breakfast. The villa in itself is fantastic, direct access to the beach and very spacious. It is possible to order food directly to the villa, couple restaurants are at walking distance. Amazing stay for family or friends.

lovely beach Villa on a beautiful island

the accommodation is in a fantastic location. It's a real beach house and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very accommodating. It is a spacious villa and there are delicious restaurants and good massage studios just around the corner. Next door is a wonderful bar for nice sun downers. I would go again and again.

The showers are unfortunately not equipped with good water pressure and they are also very calcified. There is also very little hot water. You have to be prepared for longer showers if you want to wash your hair.

great location in a quiet spot out of the way but with a super little beach club next door. Staff were always on hand if we needed them and made good use of the well stocked fridge!

Quaint Villa in a great location. Great for families or group travelling looking for value for money.

The location was the best. Right next door to Sandy Bay Beach club so if you wanted a meal or to have some cocktails. Sunset Point is a short walk up the hill to some little bars with fabulous views and sunsets. Tye property is older however the staff are amazing and the rooms/ bathrooms are immaculate. Jack , Wyan and Ketut cooked a lovely breakfast daily and if you need anything Jack was very responsive. This was a family trip of 9 and we were all very comfortable.

The water pressure is quite weak.. but not a show stopper.

The location was amazing! right on the beach in quiet Sandy Bay. a charming rustic beach-house with chilled vibes.

There really wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. Wifi was sometimes a little inconsistent but we were there to relax anyway so it really wasn’t a problem.

We had a really fun stay. Great place for a family or group of friends.

The location was right on the beach but you didn’t have a view. It was nice and private and the staff were great. The pool was lovely, clean and deep. The staff arranged a snorkelling trip with half an hour notice and we’re super helpful with everything.

I suppose it was just a little shabby in places, but it was still very nice. Don’t expect fancy..it’s very beachy which was fine with us.

The pictures were a lot better than the actual place. The villa was run down (the furniture was different to the photos) There was no, pool umbrellas, or tv and the front door did not close properly so it felt a little unsafe.

Exceptional

I loved that the garden led directly to the beach. Our friends stayed at another property owned by Ketut (Villa Waru). This was very comfortable with a larger pool, also leading to the same beach.

Nothing to do with the property, but businesses have been badly effected by covid. There are very limited eating options (apart from pizza, meat & seafood). Suggest bringing own supplies from the mainland if you want more than this.
