Better accommodation across the water.

The location

The premium chalet was a long way from it! The place was not as advertised. No facilities, reception was none up to scratch, it was like Bali in the 80th when backpacking. The guy barely speaks English. The place is totally rundown. We paid premium price . The only good thing about the place is the view! But not good enough for accommodation. The bathroom was a disaster, filthy and inadequate specifically for older people. The dining room ( breakfast area) was no better. The family owned business hasn't spent any money on the place for years. Sorry, I would like to give you some good news! But..The mattress was comfortable! For someone interested I have pictures.

Relaxing, secluded and clean

The rooms are great, the pool and views are exceptional. Really lovely stay, tucked out of the way for some peace but still walking distance to what you need. Can see turtles and dolphins from the cliffs.

Breakfast was not the greatest but it was fine. As we stayed with a family and young kids the cliff tops could do with some fencing/barriers but thats not essential

Roaring waves and ocean healing

The view is ridiculously exceptional. It is a once in a lifetime experience to witness the full force of the ocean crashing into the cliffs here. We also saw many turtles. The view from the rooms is also even better than the photos depict. Not only that but you can safely walk right up to the edge of the cliff that surrounds the whole property, with awesome views from the pool and outdoor areas. I would even say this hotel definitely has the best view in lembongan, probably in Bali and possibly even in the whole world!

It didn't really bother us, but we could see that others might be turned off by how unkempt everything is. The view and environment completely outweighs this though.

Great views & swimming pool in basic accommodation

The pool and the views are amazing. Staff were welcoming & helpful. Very basic breakfast & amenities all tired & a bit dirty everywhere however bed was comfortable and we did enjoy our stay overall. Location is somewhat isolated & you definitely need transport/a motorbike to get around. Was a beautiful setting & comfortable & good value for money (you get what you pay for!)

The bathroom in particular was very dirty & basin tap sprayed water everywhere. The whole property is tired & run down but the grounds are well kept and the staff friendly.

The view is something like I’ve never seen. It’s a short work from everything, at the same time quiet and remote and away from the boss of the beach

Great ocean view and quiet place

Really nice, quiet, relaxing and remote location. Super view of the ocean and the sometimes big waves. Nice pool and garden. Due to the location a scooter rental is highly recommended - works well.

The place could benefit by some maintenance. It is a little worn, but things work ok. A pitty that the restaurant area is not in action except for breakfast.

Run down property but clean.

Bungalows were clean and tidy. Pool area clean and tidy. Gardens clean and tidy. Overall it was clean and tidy. Beautiful views.

Overall the property is extremely run down. No cold drinks by the pool, “fridge don’t work. Bintang warm. “ Basic breakfast but all good, does the job. No interaction with staff so feel like you are on your own. Some might like that. Weather wasn’t good when we were there for 3 nights and the waves crashing and gale force winds kept all of us awake. Sounded like a cyclone out there. We were glad to leave.

Run Down

Loved being on top of the cliff, hearing the waves crash outside our door. The beds were REALLY comfortable 2 great restaurants close by

The location - too far to walk anywhere and because we dont ride scooters had to pay over $10 AUS every time we wanted to go anywhere. Breakfast was included but there was no restaurant and nowhere to eat or buy drinks. Once we were there we felt "stuck". Despite the villas having a rustic beach shack feel, the whole place was really run down. It felt like it had been neglected.

Beach style bungalows in a stunning location but well overdue some renovation and updating

Stunning location and perfect sized individual bungalows. Wonderful sound of the waves, lovely pool for sunsets or just watching the ever changjng sea and sky.

Starting to fall apart in places . All needs painting, updating and some basic maintenance. . Could be amazing with a little love and attention

The rooms were not clean and as the pictures suggest. This is possibly because of the location being so close to the ocean. There is rusting in most places. Nothing which is a dealbreaker though

Fantastic views and pool

Our room, although small, was nice and clean. The view from our room was outstanding. The pool is beautiful and we always had it to ourselves. We saw many turtles swimming past, and a couple of pods of dolphins. There wasn't much interaction with staff but everyone we met was friendly. The location was perfect as we had a scooter to get around.

The property is a bit run down, but the price is fair and the pool is beautiful. The bathroom was average but perfectly adequate, and we always had hot water.

Sensational views and weatherbeaten charm

The views are amazing. The best sunset spot on the island, but any time of day sensational. Waves crash, manta ray & turtle visit, and boats motor by. Communal area allows guests to socialise, but there’s lots of space to spread out and relax. We loved the lookout, hammocks, infinity pool, and our bungalow porch. The property is weatherbeaten and very quiet, which add to its charm. Good proximity to restaurants, day spa, and beach.

It would be good to be able to buy snacks, and have more choice of drinks to buy. Cushions on our porch couch were stained and worn - felt a bit grotty.

Stunning Clifftop location

Location location location, that’s the wow factor here. The rooms are comfortable with basic facilities but price reflects that. Views from the pool are stunning and watching the ocean and turtles below is just the most relaxing thing about this place. 2nd time staying at Cliff Park and will be back

Stunning location in a resort that is in need of renovation.

Absolutely fantastic location, aged buildings but very comfortable bed and clean villa. Sleeping to the sound of waves crashing and watching turtles swimming in the bay was a highlight.

Pleasant stay but the establishment needs a lot of attention to bring it up to a reasonable standard.

Location on the cliffs above the roaring ocean. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The grounds could have been better looked after and the accommodation units need a lot of attention: very old and drab structures that require repainting. Shower areas need a good clean out. Front entrance to the property could do with at least the grass being cut and some landscaping done.

WiFi should be improved as in other places on the island, because it’s very weak and mobile signal is also weak. In general the houses could need a little update. We also had a lot of ants in our bungalow

Beyond cloud 9! Where expectation and reality actually met!

It was an exceptional stay and was well above my expectation. I did book another place but my partner was a stress ball thinking its too far since it was on cennigan island. I rebook and went with this place as it had an interesting location. THE BEST PLACE IVE STAYED! many people would say the same since the hospitality in Bali is beyond expectations, but this place was just well in the cloud. Our room had view of the sunset, the ocean, waves you name it. Feel asleep and woke up to the sound of waves crashing below. It was so serene and peaceful. We went exploring the island, but always make sure to come back by sunset to watch it in the infinity pool. Then the stars came out and we watched all the flights flying into bali across the water, thinking were glad to not be pushing our way out of the airport. Oh you can also watch waves crashing up the cliff every now and again, and seaturtles swimming in the water. The room cost included breakfast.

Nothing! There was no restaurant there, but 5 mins down the road is a warung and a 15 mins walk from mushroom bay. We order our food takeaway and bring it back to hotel. Staff was very friendly and plated the food for us. We loved every day there.

nice view. nice room. nice staff and friendly. very helpful during our one night stay. can do pickup from boat to hotel. breakfast was good. they only served breakfast i think. other than that you can go eat outside.

the toilet and the water tap. the toilet feels slipery and oily. the shower head and all already crusty. the water doesnt taste good in your mouth for brushing you teeth so i just gargle faster i want to cry haha

Fantastic view of sunset and you can see turtles in the sea in the morning! Friendly staff and great rooms. Nice breakfast would recommend. 2 restaurants within 5 min walk and mushroom Bay only a 15 min walk away!
