Great location, friendly and amazing staff. Fast boat 50 metres from doorstep. Breakfast and restaurant food excellent and great service. Books scooter there also which was convenient.

Such a lovely relaxing place. Right on the beach. Restaurant food and service was fabulous. We would definitely recommend staying here if you want a chilled relaxed few days on the beach. Great value for money. Bed comfy, shower good. A bit more lighting would have been good - it was a little dark in the hut.

What a pleasant surprise!!

We loved everything about Mola Mola house; from the warm welcome, location, food and safe swimming in the beach. Sea view bungalows have been thoughtfully refurbished, in consideration of its absolute beachfront location.

This place is all about the location, nothing else. Come prepared to be a beach bum.

The location is perfect. Best beach on the island. Food in the onsite restaurant was okay, nothing to write home about, but certainly doable.

Some of the staff were rude and made us feel unwelcome and like a nuisance. The rooms and bathrooms were not very clean and things are outdated and old. We had issues with the hot water and the water pressure.

We love staying at Mola Mola, its our 2nd home. The staff are amazing & we always feel well looked after when we stay. The food is great. The renovations to the beachfront rooms are great, with the bathroom now on the same level as the bedroom.

The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet bay with lovely snorkeling, I had a sea view villa and I loved it. The Tanis ferry arrives right on the doorstep! Staff were lovely. Restaurant was good.

Mosquitos found their way into my mosquito net each night so I had to kill them all before sleeping. lol. But I’d say this is the case everywhere, not specific to Mola Mola.

Loved it and really thankful for the very kind hotel staff and lovely vibe.

I loved the location and vibe of the place- feet in the sand the entire day and a beautiful cove perfect for snorkeling and relaxing.

Cannot fault this place at all but my 3-year old toddler ended up being a bit afraid of the dogs on the beach (they were very kind dogs and are found all over the island really).

The location is perfect. We had a beach front cabin which was great. The staff were friendly and the food was good.

Because of the humidity when we visited the bedding quickly had a damp feel to it, although it was changed regularly. Perhaps a better air conditioning unit would help as it could not keep up with the outside temperature and humidity.

A real island beach getaway that I didn’t want to leave

This property is a collection of gorgeous thatched huts, very rustic. It’s right on the beach and so is their great restaurant which I dined at a few times and enjoyed every meal. The staff were very nice, always around to assist during your stay.

The hut I was in had a very steep downstairs bathroom.

Great beach stay on Lembongan

Can’t beat the beach view with Mt. Agung in the background. The location is perfect: the bungalows sit right on the beach, there’s a restaurant with great food and the fast boat dropped us off just 100 m from the hotel. Super convenient when traveling with children. It was the 3rd time we stayed here and we'll be back again for sure.

Breakfast was a bit late. Supposed to be open from 7AM but staff was not ready. We ate at 7.45AM. Not ideal with children, who wake up at 6 and are hungry.

Amazing

Great location, right on the beach! The huts are beautiful, the gardens well looked after, the restaurant served great food, they have the coldest Bintangs (yay) of Mushroom Bay, and you can sit watching the ocean and feet in the sand, and they don't keep adding taxes like the other places. Sunbeds are available on the beach! I just loved it!

Our hut had the bathroom downstairs, not so convenient going up and down the stairs all the time, especially at night when you are half sleep. But I know they have bathrooms upstairs in other huts. I would book those next time. I also found the hut too dark, extra lighting would be good. I would also add a couple more umbrellas near the sunbeds for extra shade, but that's me trying to avoid too much sun. Anyway, just my opinion, I would come back 100 times!

A perfect little spot right on Mushroom beach, lovely little beach huts, beautiful staff very friendly, lovely food. A great little getaway, we will be back for sure.

Nothing really but only one observation we was there for 3 nights and we could have done with clean towels daily and the bins went emptied or the cups we used could have been cleaned for our visit.

Grim compared to the villa we came from in Ubud, but made pleasant by the wonderful staff.

The location was great. The staff were friendly and helped us in every way we could expect. From the food, the boat tripthe bike rental, to ferry departure, they made it all pleasant.

The toilets. I didn't imagine it to be worse than the photos. Sure, there is a walk-down from the bedroom. But the fixtures could use a total change. There was a stench, possibly of a dead animal, coming from what I suspect the thatched roof. Cleanliness could be improved - dust on the bathroom stairs not cleaned for God-knows how long, bathroom floor felt sandy, and the bedroom felt dirty, especially since there are gaps from the wooden wall separating the bathroom and bedroom. They try to make you feel you have everything (I noticed a hair dryer), but the kettle insides were calcified and appeared rusty.

You cannot beat the location and friendly staff. The price is good and reflecting the standard of accommodation for Bali. Massive thank you to Komang and his team for an incredible stay- we will be back!

The loud music from a neighbouring property needs addressing. I know MolaMola manager is trying his best with this. The shower sometimes didn’t have hot water but didn’t bother us too much.

Loved the position right on the beach, accommodation is very basic but cute.

Mola Mola is in a great position right at the end of the bay. We stayed in the far right cabin at the front, giving us a beautiful view along the bay. The staff was very accommodating and nice. The restaurant, which is right on the beach, had nice food and cold drinks.

Beside our cabin were the kitchen and toilet, so there was some noise from that and the restaurant nearby. On the last night we had a rat visiting our room again and again, chewing through plastic bags and bottles.

Beautiful authentic Balinese island bungalow beach holiday

Molamola House with bungalows and restaurant is a perfect paradise if you want to be on the beach with top seaviews on Nusa Lembongan and like to eat a range of freshly prepared food. Komang is the very friendly and really helpful local owner of these beautiful bungalows on the waterfront in Mushroom Bay. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and you can walk across the beach and into the clear blue sea for swims. Molamola is also perfectly situated next to where the Dream beach ferries arrive from and leave from Sanur. We can only extremely highly recommend to you if you are looking for a beautiful authentic Balinese bungalow beach holiday

The coffee - yuck! I seriously need some Moccona. The fruit platters are rather tasteless. Papaya and watermelon were not great. Pineapple a little better but I'd still rate it at only 50%. Our room was very good, comfortable. The one thing I did not like much was the shower floor which consisted of loose smooth stones. Sometimes the water went from hot to cold but that wasn't a problem. The beach is nice but be careful. There is a lot of broken coral on and under the sand.

Rustic traditional Lumbungs with a cool vibe

We loved our stay at MolaMola house, perfect location right on the beach at beautiful Mushroom Bay. It was the cheapest accommodation during our 5 destination trip, so great value. We are a couple in our early 60’s and thought it might attract a younger crowd, but the clientele were actually a nice mix of younger and more mature couples, so it suited us well and we felt very comfortable. The 5 beach view Lumbungs have been refurbished and the bathrooms repositioned upstairs. The 5 garden view Lumbungs still have the downstairs bathrooms, which aren’t exactly great and are a bit of a pain, but the owners told us they are being refurbished later this year. We had garden view Lumbung 6, which still had a bit of a restaurant and beach view and was nice and private too. The beach is great for swimming but we still missed not having a pool. The included breakfast was pretty basic but the restaurant is actually very good and it’s a lovely place for a casual dinner. They light a bonfire on the beach each night, making for a very cool vibe. The staff organised a snorkelling trip to Manta Bay and Chrystal Bay, so for 550k we got a little old man in a traditional outrigger. It took about 3 hour total, swum with Mantas and the fish and coral were the best I’ve ever seen. So, MolaMola house is a great little rustic place on NL’s best beach, cool vibe, sandy toes, tasty food, good value, great location, lovely hosts.

Paradise awaits on Lembongan

Paradise awaits you at MolaMola. Ocean view hut is absolutely divine. Walk down the steps from your hut straight onto the beach and into the water. Sit on your deck and watch the waves roll in. Sun chairs, umbrellas and a beautiful tree for shade. Breakfast lunch and dinner all available at the cafe. I recommend the CapCay! Beanbag on your lower deck for afternoon relaxing. Room was spacious, bed super comfortable, clean, wonderful bathroom with toiletries, air con cold, wifi great, beach towels provided. Staff are super. Rooms seviced daily, and they will arrange tours, snorkelling, scooter if required.Take the fastboat directly from the beach. The ultimate beach front accommodation. You can spend days here in natural luxury. Swim, eat, sleep, repeat. Snorkel right off the beach and surf hire and minimart close by. Just perfect 👌. Already planning a return visit!
