Sanghyang Bay Villas

The location couldn’t have been any better. A short walk to the beach, but far enough away to avoid any entertaining noise. The gardens were magnificent. The pool was divine. Great location for restaurants and massage places. Staff were wonderful and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms huge with amazing showers. Had the family two room attached bungalows and it was perfect for my friend and myself. Great to have a seated area out front to congregate and watch the beautiful view. Cold water always available at reception. Did not see anywhere else as beautiful and cared for with this location. Way better than a resort full of drunk loud tourists. Five stars.

The one thing we didn’t like, which couldn’t be helped was a loud Australian family with two rather feral young kids shouting and making noise early in the morning and during the day when they were around, but they were often off site. This is just bad luck. All other guests were lovely and respectful. All other families had well behaved kids and were considerate and friendly. No late night drinkers in the pool. Rooms are set back from the pool generally so that keeps pool noise down.

I liked how close it was to everything, staff were lovely & the facilities were good.
