The layout, the beautiful garden, great pool area, the staff were all wondeful, our room
spacious, light and clean. Loved everything and we had a great stay. Would definitely stay there again next time!
Breakfast restaurant was located at the beach with great views but could use a little renovation.
5.0 / 10.0
Staff were nice and friendly. They welcomed us with fresh juice and explain what there is to do on the island. The location is great, just steps from the beach with their resturant/bar on the beach front. Breakfast was good. I wish I had more nice things to say.
We booked the one-bedroom bungalow. I would not recommend this room if you are travelling with children. There are gaps in the roof which allow animals and insects in. I understand we are on an island and these animals are normal, but we had a foot long gecko in our room and a spider the size of our palm. We tried to get the gecko out ourself but couldn’t. Staff also couldn’t get the gecko out and wanted to kill it with bug spray which we asked them not to do (third largest gecko species in the world!). AC does not keep the room cool with all the gaps in the roof. We were sweating all night despite the AC being on 18 degrees.
Unfortunately the room has zero sound proofing and we were not notified of the construction taking place in the other villas on the property. We had the noise of drills and saws running right next us which is tough if your child is napping and is a light sleeper. You can also hear the music from the restaurants on the beach at night.
The room is luxurious rustic but could use a deep clean. There was mould on the curtains. It needs a bit of care as tiles are loose and breaking away. One of the pillow cases smelt like old sweat - so I checked under the pillow case and it had mould on it. The staff replaced the pillow with a ‘good’ pillow which was a mouldy pillow with a case protector on it. I decided to check all the pillows provided in our room and they all had mould under the pillow protectors. Unfortunately the baby cot mattress was in bad shape too. I didn’t want to look at the main bed mattress condition. Toilet in our room was leaking water onto the ground which would completely drench towels and upon looking at previous reviews this seems to have been a problem since 2024.
Late check out fee for an extra 2 hours is 300k which is over 40% of one nights stay. Seemed a bit steep.
Overall an ok stay. The location is great but the room needs work done. The other newer rooms looked much more modern and comfortable.

The location is very close to Mushroom beach, also close to great cafes called .mushroom Cafe.
The bathrooms are outside which is a problem when it rains as everything gets wet. It would also be good if the resort provide hand towels. The bathrooms could also do with being updated, old and run down.

We just did a week at Sanghyangbay Villa Lembongan and it was epic.
We have a 1 yr old and 4 yr old and the staff were amazing with them. If scooters aren’t your thing then the accom has a taxi and many many restaurants will come and get you for free and return you to the accom. But honestly you’d be so fine to spend majority of your time at mushroom bay.. beach is amazing and some great food options close by.
We had 2bedroom adjoining rooms and it was perfect but you could easily do one as they have a large balcony as your option once baby is asleep at night. The rooms are a great size just make sure you book the deluxe I think it’s called.
The grounds are well kept and tidy and mushroom beach is a minute walk away.
We also hired a pool fence for around the balcony so I could relax with my 18 month old knowing he couldn’t wander towards the pool.
Mushroom Gelato and Coffee are sooo good next door and Mola Mola on mushroom beach was so yum too.
Also 10/10 recommend Nusa baby care for nanny - we had Rosa and she was so beautiful the kids adored her.
Shout out to Suriana (spelling sorry!!) he absolutely made our stay, went above and beyond and just a legend, and also Kadek the captain, great snorkeling and kept us safe during a pretty hectic manta bay trip (it was big sea and I wouldn’t do it if you were very comfortable on boats).
Restaurant is in a beautiful setting, lovely staff and lots of space, some kids toys! There is well stocked convenience store right beside the accom.
There is quite a lot of mozzies so bring your spray, the staff turn down your room at night and spray, and there are nets which made nights more comfortable.
There was a misunderstanding regarding a boat trip but Suriana fixed the situation for us and was awesome about it. Be very clear about where you want to go, I think it was just a miscommunication.
The resort advertises Syron spa - do not go there - 0/10. Main lady takes and makes phone calls during a facial, my 4yr old got her nails done it looked like she’d done it herself, her hair braid was falling out before we had left the place but was just so keen to get out of there by that stage.

Absolutely gorgeous, peaceful place. Only 12 rooms, all located in a circle around the spacious pool. Included breakfast is a la carte from a nice menu of options. The restaurant is on the beach and has a great menu- we ate there several times and always had excellent meals and service. You can order room or poolside service from them too. The hotel staff are young, friendly and very effective. We enjoyed hiring a golf buggy for a day, which suited our family of 4 better than scooters. We used the massage service that reception books for you- they collect you on scooters and take you around the corner- it was excellent and cheap. We organised awesome fishing trips, snorkelling and manta ray trips not thru the hotel- there are many boat options with good prices that you only need to book the day before.
Nothing I can think of! This place is so great. Incredibly relaxing, a lovely beach and less busy than the big main beach. The boat to/from Sanur is notorious. There's not much you can do but hope for the best, take seasick tablets, and book in the morning not afternoon when the swells are generally safer. The Tanis drops off on a small walkway in front of the villas, and the hotel staff meet you on the beach.

We got to Sanyang in the middle of a massive downpour and were greeted very warmly our exciting transfer on the ferry!! The pool area is great and the grounds are lovely. the True star though is mushroom beach, all of 100m away!! we loved it - crystal clear waters, lots of shade in the morning. Whilst we were there the property was very quiet, which allowed our kids to fully take over the pool and gardens!! Our 10 yo spent most of his time in the hammock!! we went scuba diving one day and this may be one of the best diving experiences ever - seeing the Manta rays was truly remarkable!
The breakfast was extremely simple and we only ate at the restaurant once as there were so many flies! Cost of transport organised from the property seemed higher than elsewhere and we didnt realise we could have had free pick up from the ferry!

The location, the swimmingpool.
Bedsheets dirty, staff not really helpfull (not a Bali smile), not a very confortable room (not many cabins for cloths/stuff).

Beautiful shady pool area, lovely villas (we stayed in Deluxe Villa) and friendly, super helpful staff. Great location in Mushroom Bay, short walk to beach and surrounded by cafes and bars. The restaurant was a one minute stroll, and right on the beach- great spot for drinks and dinner, with live music.
There was some construction work going on, which was unexpected… but otherwise the villas were fantastic, clean and comfortable.

We stayed in one of the bamboo bungalows which were really cool, bed is big and AC decent.
We hired a scooter but think staff were unsure on the different sizes and sometimes it was hard to find someone for bar drinks.
Location is pretty good, minute walk to beach…restaurants are pretty limited in that bay so you’ll probably want to adventure further afield.
Staff maybe a bit young to run it.

Amazing location 2min from Mushroom Bay beach. Lovely staff, gorgeous gardens/pool/hang out space. Water refills provided. Age-appropriate cot provided (for toddler). Mosquito nets provided and set up each night for us, as well as an extra for my 4yo daughter on the couch (thanks again).
Our in-laws (in the Family 2BR Villa) were very happy, well sealed and aircon solid, with the outdoor bathroom a fun aspect for the kids.
The older polished concrete huts where we stayed (“Superior Bungalow”) are cute and cozy with rounded walls and molded bathroom, but totally impractical in the heat / insects with all the holes to outside and no glass panes in the windows (see below).
The older polished concrete huts (Superior Bungalow) are totally impractical in the heat / insects. given there are about 100 holes (each slat window + roofline gaps) allowing the aircon to leak out before it even reaches you, and no fans. (Fact: Our baby monitor measured 29C in the centre of the hut where our baby slept, while the aircon was set at 23C! The far side of the hut was even hotter and more humid, where our daughter slept)
Even at night everybody slept in their undies atop their beds, sweating, despite the aircon on. And this is the dry (less humid) season! Gratefully, the staff provided a pedestal fan to use in the room the last couple nights, which helped one person sleep better.
My daughter and I also got about 2 mosquito bites per day while outside the mosquito nets (so not a lot, but not nice either).
SIMPLE FIX: Install 2 swivel fans in the room up high (one where aircon is, one either side), or..
BETTER FIX: Seal up the dozens of holes in the hut around roofline, and install glass windows.
If it weren't for this issue of heat/mosquitos, i.e. we were in a different room, we'd be 10/10 on this place! Only other minor complaint was that the cocktails were a bit too weak, but juices were great.

Great pool. So close to a beautiful beach with lots of places to eat. Staff very friendly and happy to help
Didn’t realise it was on an accommodation website for families. Lots of kids being kids. If you are wanting a quiet stay, you may not get it

Everything, comfortable rooms with air conditioning, daily servicing and nightly turn down service where they spray the rooms and close the mosquito nets. The property was a beautiful garden oasis just a few minutes walk from Mushroom Bay. The pool was wonderful, clean and large with sun loungers and umbrellas around the edge. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and always ready to help.

RATS!
If you're staying in thatched roof huts, which is roughly 50% of the resort, then you will get rats coming into your rooms.
We were staying in rooms 1, 2 & 3 and had rats come in at night to look for food.
Even when there was no food, they would still come in the rooms and run around in the dark.
Security tried to help but you can't patch the whole roof up.
If you're gonna stay there, consider staying in the tiled roof huts.

Beautiful little gem of a place! From the moment we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming. The gardens and pool area were tranquil. We entered our room which was huge! A big king size bed and a small lounge that was converted into a single bed for our daughter. The bed was very comfy and the room was spotless. The outdoor bathroom was big and clean. We ended up asking to pay extra to stay in the 2 bedroom room after our first nights stay as it became available. It was connected by a door between the rooms and had a king bed in 1 room and 2 king singles in the next. Both rooms had a bathroom. Breakfast was included which was at the beachfront restaurant, a 1min walk away. Great selection of food and was also a great spot to have lunch and dinner. Would defiantly stay again.

Location was ideal, close to the beach with restaurant on the beachfront. Staff were helpful and friendly and arranged our complete transportation needs to and from their hotel, including taxi and ferry services. Included breakfast was adequate and suited our needs. Would definitely stay again if we revisit Nusa Lembongan.
Having a television with some English speaking channels would have been nice, especially if you were staying for a long period of time.

Such a great location and the villas were big and had great outdoor bathrooms. We had a few families staying and this was a great location as we all had our own villa but the communal pool was central and great to relax at. The included breakfast was on the water at their adjoining restaurant and it was a stunning view and great food. The resident dog had just had puppies so the kids had an absolute ball with the puppies and the staff were great!

The hotel is wonderful. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They are always willing to help or carry a bag for you. Our room was lovely, spacious and impeccably clean. The pool area is the real star of this hotel, we took scooters around the island and is by far the largest pool we saw and with only 8 villas it was never busy. The pool kept the kids entertained for hours. Like the rooms, the staff take great pride in keeping the whole area so tidy it always looks immaculate. Would happily stay here again and again.

Everything about this place was amazing. From the moment we checked in and then received an upgrade to the sad day when we checked out!
The property is a cozy, comfortable, quiet and very well organised and maintained compound in a very busy area. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were always available.
I would recommend the Superior Deluxe Villas - they are quite new and have an outdoor bathroom which I love.
I have only positives about this place!!
