About this house rental
The modern comfortable property is an open, light and warm two-storey house with a 3 minute walk to Hihi Beach. It has a nice view of the sea and the rolling green hills. Sit outside in comfort in winter or summer. Enjoy the sun during the day and stars at night as you drink a coffee or wine. Hihi is a very safe and quiet environment at night and during the day. A great place to relax or play. Read the reviews! People like staying here.
It is a large home, with a master bedroom and living area upstairs, an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen, all with different views of sea and mountains. Watch the sun rise at breakfast and see it set in the evening. A large deck upstairs facing north-west, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ available downstairs.
We will provide six towels, t-towels, blankets and duvet covers. We have some linen available, but ideally you will bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels.
We also have a selection of games and DVD's for all ages. We have free-view TV and you can bring your own SKY decoder for longer stays.
Hihi is a wonderful family holiday location with a safe swimming beach and a boat ramp. Great for sailing, kayaking, diving and fishing.
There is a great golf course 15 minutes away at Whangaroa and two more within 40 minutes: Carrington and Kaitaia.
Hihi is a 7 minute drive from Mangonui and Coopers Beach with its restaurants, pub, cafes and shops. It’s also a great place to fish from the wharf at certain times of the tide.
If you enjoy mountain biking and kayaking there are interesting places to explore. Just discuss this before you move in. Our family are keen on sports so we can give you many suggestions on how to make good use of the area for biking, running and fishing. We might even tell you some great fishing spots!

We will discuss our expectations with all visitors. It's the usual things such as water conservation, where things are, smoking outside etc. .
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to clean the house and do the dishes before you leave. Bring your own linen (beach towels/sheets/pillow cases).
