Beautiful restoration / renovation of old mill building into fantastic apartments. Quality furnishings and very comfortable- lots of nice touches. One of the best self catering places we’ve stayed in Scotland. Close to Kirkwall and many of the sights on Mainland.

Location was excellent. Quality and condition of furnishings, fittings etc was top notch. We could have been the first guests to stay there. Close enough to Kirkwall for the music festival but out in the countryside with lots of bird song. Communication with the owner was excellent and she went above and beyond to get a left item to us.
WiFi was weak at times (which seemed to tie in with one other set of guests being present), but it didn’t really drop out. Also, given the location, high bandwidth is not to be expected and we shouldn’t have been working while on holiday anyway! It was a very minor point.

It was stunningly equiped, and anything we needed was there. Spacious, comfy, wonderful views, good location. Hot shower, comfy bed, great hosts
