Great base to explore Orkney from.

The shower was fantastic and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Parking was convenient and easy to access once we got used to the turn in.

Everything we needed was there. Very tasteful decor displaying local business and talent. Instructions on how things are to be done were clear and concise. I would recommend this property.

This was an ideal base for our first visit to Orkney, allowing us to explore Mainland and connected islands very easily.

Comfortable and quiet Well furnished and equipped. On site parking and convenient for Kirkwall centre plus local facilities and supermarkets Particularly appreciated the top floor bedroom with lovely light and good views.

Front door lock was a little temperamental 🙃

Lovely place to stay. Would happily stay there again.

A lovely, well kept house close to the town centre with on-site parking. The hosts left easy to follow instructions for the house and clear directions to nearby shops. We were impressed with the refillable milk bottles etc so used those at a local shop. Hosts were most helpful in all aspects of our stay.

Perfect Stay in an awesome appartment

Perfect stay! On our last day we were allowed to stay longer to have a rest bevore leaving by ship. Good recommendations for taxi, pub, busses. Free coffee and shortbread. Three room appartment with plenty of space for stuff. Very clean and cosy!

Next time we take the sunny days. :)

Loved the fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, fabulous water pressure, comfortable and quiet, friendly neighbours; spacious shower stall

The square was a bit of an eyesore in stark contrast to the interior of the flat; the door was difficult to lock; a rack in the shower would be helpful; no HDMI jack on the tele

Great location, excellent Accomodation.

Great location. free parking nearby. House was very well appointed and had everything we needed, as well as free wifi. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. A fabulous base for exploring the Main Island. Shops, Pubs, Restaurants and Supermarkets were within easy walking distance.

Lovely flat with good facilities

Central location, very clean and well set up.

Having to strip the beds and open the windows at the end of our stay. We are older women both with physical limitations. Have never had to do this at any other property we stayed at. some of the windows were high and very stiff

Enjoyable stay.

Exceptionally clean, fantastic power shower, really fluffy towels, well equipped.

Pillows a wee bit hard for me, but that's a personal preference. Weather was fantastic, would have been nice to have somewhere to sit outside, but not possible.

An excellent place to stay to enjoy the amenities of Kirkwall.

An older property skillfully modernised and well decorated. Considering it's excellently convenient location in the centre of town within a few minutes walk to the shops, town centre, bus station and harbour, it was remarkably quiet.

Some of the neighbours in the square could do with improving their properties to the excellent standards that this one has been renovated to.
