Burray Apartments - Tangles, Kelpie & Selkie

We were in the upstairs apartment Tangles. Comfortable modern style with absolutely beautiful outlook. Owners sent us good information about local facilities and we knew to shop at st Margaret’s hope. Well placed for a simply marvellous stay in the Orkneys.

Be aware quite steep set of steps to get up to apartment, could be problematic for some.

Comfortable warm and clean. Comfortable bed and problem free stay.

Lovely clean accommodation with everything provided for you. Would highly recommend

Nothing

Location and ease of parking. Good size rooms.

Bathroom, why is the shower not enclosed and shower drain not good enough to drain water away quickly enough. Shower head fitment too loose and should be rectified. No shelving for personal items and put a hook on the door for hanging your towel instead of the flimsy hooks that are currently supplied on the towel rack which are too small and the one next to the wall is impractical. Noise from apartment above totally unacceptable. You can hear people walking, water running and washing machine being used. Surely this must be a common complaint and should have been known when apartments completed, ruined our stay.
