This cabin had the best layout I have ever stayed in with plenty storage space for two people

Hot tub and location were lovely. View beautiful and loved visiting Orkney!
Shower heat was not good with good pressure, only really hot enough when pressure turned right down

Great location to use as a base to explore the islands. Fantastic night skies thanks to it being a bit remote. Cozy and comfortable, well equipped, with a great view, a nice play structure for the little and a hot tub for us. The host is very responsive, kind and patient. Thanks for the doggy care package, too!
Although the 3 lodges are relatively close to each other, we did not hear the other people at all (hopefully they didn't hear us or our shrieking toddler, either) and things are set up in a way that we felt we had full privacy.
Slightly smaller than I expected, but still cozy and comfortable for 2 adults, 1 toddler and 1 large dog.

The location is nice, especially in good weather
The heat controls are difficult to fathom, although the cabin was warm. No contact from the owners or anyone else during our stay, apart from automated (?) messages, threatening extra charges for this, that and the other. Would encourage them to reconsider this approach - the emojis don’t help!
