There were ferry delays on our journey to Orkney and our hosts were very helpful and supportive in sorting things out and making alternative travel arrangements. They also stayed up very late to welcome us to the cottage.

Great location with beautiful views. Very homely feel to cottage, warm and comfortable. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Beautiful linen. Excellent hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Excellent local knowledge which helped us plan our week. Location of the house made it easy to explore the mainland. Unfortunately we couldn’t book ferries to explore other islands, but there was more than enough to do on the mainland.
Very difficult to find anything we didn’t like about Binnaquoy. A little bit difficult to find, perhaps! A sign at the end of the road up to the cottage would be helpful, but otherwise we thought the accommodation was excellent.

Exceptional location not far from my sister and very bonnie view in the morning. The cottage was refurbished to an exceptional standard. The ladies who own the cottage were above and beyond friendly and accommodating. Can't rate highly enough!!!

This is a perfect base for exploring Orkney. Close to the main site, but also tucked away and quiet and peaceful, with lovely views.
The property is tastefully decorated, warm and cosy with everything you need for a short or long stay. We really enjoyed just relaxing here for a day when storm Amy hit.
The owners are just lovely. Warm and welcoming and were there for any questions we had.
We would very much like to come back to Orkney and would definitely stay here again.
