Lovely apartment in Kotor old town

The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed and perfect location to explore Kotor old town The host was flexible with early check in, which was very kind of him

Apartment itself is perfect, can't find a fault. However before we check out, the host sent a message saying that we should leave the apartment at the status when we checked in, and should take rubbish out as well. During our travel we have always tried to keep the place as tidy and clean as possible, however requesting the guests to leave the apartment as when they checked in is just wrong and nobody can do that! Especially considering we were specifically paid 30 euro cleaning fees the request seems unreasonable. If not for that unreasonable message we would have rated it as 10 instead of 9

Nice apartment but weird cleaning policy

The apartment is new, spacious, well equipped and in a nice location.

You pay 30 euros for cleaning when leaving but... You are expected to leave everything clean and even to take with you your garbage.

It was very hot to be inside the apartment during the heat wave. The AC was installed in the kitchen and didn’t cool sufficiently. The bedroom was super hot

Would have liked an air conditioner in the bedroom as opposed to a standing fan; it was 39 degrees in Montenegro during our stay

Superb

The apartment is relatively new and very spacious and has all the facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. The bed is fantastic - one of the best hotel mattresses I’ve slept on. The apartment is also located close to the gate for the City Wall climb.

The 42 stairs that I had to climb (with two large suitcases) to get to the apartment.

Homey & Spacious!

Apartment is clean, homey, spacious and located inside the Old Town. Location was great for me as its less then 200m from the tour agency that I had 2 day tours with (1 of the tour starts at 7am). It's also interesting to peep into the neighbour's backyard to see how the locals live and to navigate the various narrow alleyways to get to the apartment (Google maps is essential here)!

Alot of stairs & no lift (but its expected given that its an old building & inside the old town). There is also some sewerage smell from the bathroom (also expected for old building). Just open the windows for ventilation & you will be fine.

The location was perfect inside oldtown it was like a dream. The place was very clean. Mr. Bozidar was so nice and helpful about everything especially the city tax payment. He also gave very nice local recommendations. I enjoyed my stay there a lot. Thanks a lot hope to see you in a short time :)

Beautifully presented apartment in a perfect location

We loved this apartment, it was well equipped and the living room was really spacious. Really happy with the apartment and its location! definitely stay again.

The only downside is the entrance and stairwell which are in need of a good lick of paint but once you enter the apartment, everything changes because it’s beautiful!

Great value, recently modernised apartment, recommended if you can live with 3 drawbacks listed here.

Newly decorated and refurbished, spacious and cool.

Near a nightclub so noisy till after midnight. New induction hob does not have right pans to cook on. In effect 2 settings: “not hot enough to cook”, and “burn food on bottom of pan”. No fire escape: apartment is up 6 flights of stairs with no alternative way out if a fire in stairwell. (I suspect this is a common problem in other apartments in old town Kotor).

We had a car trip around Montenegro. Stayed in 4 cities: Budva, Bar, Kotor, Tivat. These apartments are located in the old town. The apartment has been recently refurbished and all amenities are excellent. Thanks for the bottle of wine. The old town of Kotor left a favorable impression.

The problem of Kotor is parking. Free parking are all occupied there used to be parking for 10 euros per day but now all parking have the same price of 0.9 euros per hour.

Best host and best apartment

Bozidar is the best host I ever met, he made every aspect of my stay in Kotor comfortable and easy. Whatever I asked - he had a great answer and support. So thanks again. The apartment is amazing - it's in the Old Town where it takes you 1-3 minutes to get to anywhere) The rooms are very stylish, and very functional in all details - whatever you need will be there. There's a church and disco nearby, but windows are so well isolated that sound doesn't pass.Totally recommend it.

Excellent apartment in old town

Location is amazing. The place itself is very comfortable, beds were solid, kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook yourself, large living room with a wrap around couch to fall into after hiking the city walls. Great jazz bar around the corner! Even the views were decent as you’re high enough up to see the mountains above the other historical buildings!

The bathroom had a noticeable sewage smell.

There was nothing to complain about! As an FYI, I note it is up several flights of stairs and the cleaning fee of 15 euro is not included in the price.

Amazing location, right in the old town. Brand new and exceptionally well equipped apartment (including a washing machine and washing powder, iron, dishwasher, towels etc). The host (Bozidar) was very helpful and a nice guy!

Buena ubicación.

Ubicación

El impuesto de la ciudad lo debe pagar el dueño del alojamiento. Aunque nos dio las indicaciones para pagarlo, tuvimos que caminar aproximadamente 10 minutos fuera del Old Town, para uno como viajero es incómodo tener que ir a hacer un pago que le corresponde al anfitrión cobrarlo en el total de la estadía y pagarlo el mismo. En la oficina de turismo nos confirmaron que es la responsabilidad del anfitrión. Además nos solicitó sacar la basura del apartamento y depositarla en la salida del Old Town. Tampoco es una solicitud cómoda, para algo se paga una tarifa por limpieza incluida en el valor del alojamiento. Había heces de perro en uno de los pisos del edificio, al parecer el perro hace sus necesidades en el hall de las escaleras las cuales son estrechas y sucias.

Ubicación estupenda, grande, limpio y bonito

La ubicación es perfecta, dentro de la ciudad amurallada y a unos minutos andando de la playa, también está a minutos de 2 supermercados. El piso es muy cómodo y grande, estaba muy limpio y bien decorado,las camas son buenas, la cocina tiene todos los utencilios necesarios, tiene todos los electrodomésticos para hacer una estadía cómoda. Buena aislación acústica y hay 2 equipos de aire acondicionado, en la habitación y en el comedor (el salónno tiene pero se apaña con el del comedor).

El WiFi va mal, no se pueden hacer llamadas por WhatsApp ni conectarse a reuniones por zoom. La basura te piden que la dejes fuera de la casa antes de irte, los contenedores de reciclaje están bastante lejos. Es una tercera planta, y en la de abajo hay una cocina a gas en medio del pasillo, donde la vecina cocina (nos llamó mucho la atención). La casa no tiene cerrojo por dentro y cuando sales debes echar la llave o queda abierta la puerta, nos gustaría que nos hubieran avisado antes, pues ya llevábamos varios días y al volver habían abierto nuestra puerta, solo ahí nos dimos cuenta que habíamos estado siempre con la puerta sin trancar.
