Overall great place in Kotor

Great location and a very cozy room. The hosts were very helpful and kind.

You could hear a bit of noise from the neighboring rooms, just chatter and it wasn’t that the other guests were awake late. But I turned on Spotify brown noise to drown it out when I went to bed at 23.00.

Excellent location!

The main thing to say is that the location of the accommodation is perfect. Right in the old town so everything, including the shops, restaurants, little beach, port and bus station, are all within walking distance. It is very difficult to locate and unfortunately we couldn't get through by phoning but we asked someone in a restaurant and he actually took us and then called the contact. The room is spacious and had a large, comfortable double bed. The bedding/towels were clean but there could have been a bit more attention to detail with the cleaning (especially the toilet!). There was plenty of storage space and the kitchenette was useful for hot drinks, breakfast and the fridge but otherwise very basic. Given how expensive Kotor is to eat out, this might be an issue for some but not for us. The property contact was very quick to answer WhatsApp messages and very helpful. We had no issues with the WiFi or aircon. Overall, we really enjoyed our 10 night stay here and it was very good for what we paid for an end Sept/beginning of Oct stay.

It was a little noisy at times, but that's the price you pay for a brilliant location. The main front door to the apartments was often left wide open when we returned. There was a safety deposit box in the room, but, in our opinion, the main front door should have been lockable to offer greater security, especially during the night.

DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT UNLESS THESE ISSUES ARE RESOLVED!

The accommodation is 10 out of 10 for location in the Old Town. The main room with the bed, kitchen etc was a very good size and very clean The wi-fi was easy to access. Instructions to find the apartment and information to enter the apartment was excellent.

1. ENSUITE: Whilst one accepts that the room we chose in the attic of the building had some space constraints in the en-suite, the ensuite itself was very poor. The shower head has to be held in your hand as the fixing on the wall does not work and there was no evidence that this had just happened. The ensuite had been cleaned prior to our arrival so the owner must have known that visitors would not be able to get a proper shower. The shower tray also filled up with water due to very slow drainage, which caused us to be worried that excess water from the shower cubicle would spread to the apartments below. More worrying is the ensuite has black mould on the walls of the shower area. 2. There is a TV in the main room, which has 3 remote controls but NO instructions. We managed to get sound on the TV but no picture. If you are going to provide a TV with English Channels then provide some brief instructions so that visitors can access them. 3. During our first day the handle just fell off the tap on the kitchen sink in the main room. MOST WORRYING: I informed the owner of all of the above issues on Day 1 of our visit and despite seeing a couple of people enter the premises to clean other apartments nobody has replied to my messages.

Great city; very enjoyable stay

Location was excellent; right in the heart of the old town and close to many good restaurants and bars. However it was quiet inside the apartment and we were not aware of the crowds in the old town. The hosts were very helpful when we arrived and showed us to the apartment as we were having some difficulty locating the apartment with Google maps !

Maybe more utensils in the kitchen - however it was not a problem for us as we were not cooking in the apartment

Pay a little more for this gorgeous town.

Location was great - should have paid more but wasn’t much available in our price range when we booked

Wifi not great - tv couldn’t get to work / shower broken - noisy neighbours slamming doors all night - can’t be helped but no good when you are a light sleeper - and its true they did fix the wifi promptly. Appreciated the iron and ironing board and too be fair it was a decent size room, so great for budget travellers.

Basic, clean and super location.

Awesome location. I was in the ground floor flat. Apartment was clean. 1 min walk to the Old Town gate and 5 min walk to the beach / seafront. very close to supermarket.

It seems silly to mention this but I've stayed in apartments/similar accommodation for years travelling and toilet paper is always provided along with towels. I had to ask for toilet paper twice and the second time they forgot. Obviously, I could have gone and bought some if they said they don't provide. I'm sure the owners will take it on board and it won't be an issue going forward.

Convenient, safe

Clean, very spacious and in the heart of the old town.

There was limited cooking utensils such no spatula or a drying cloth. There was also no sharp knife, just one extremely blunt one. Additionally, there was only 1 roll of toilet roll so we had to buy the smallest pack which was a 4 pack, for a 4 day stay.

Not recommended

Central location

- Bathroom in very bad condition with mold and broken parts in the wall and shower - Low value for money - Wi-Fi didn’t work properly as mentioned in various other reviews - Bed was not comfortable - Stairs are very steep and have no handle (dangerous to lift up heavy luggage) - Appartment seems to have fake reviews on booking.com and google. We only found the google reviews after receiving the exact location as property is listed under different name in Google for obvious reasons, since reviews there are much worse from the Booking.com rating.

Central Location!

We loved how central it was! Easy to get around old town! Spacious apartment and was cooled well with air conditioning. Can be noisy at night but nothing we couldnt handle.

A touch confusing to locate at first (we were also very hungry and tired after a 7 hour bus ride so that didnt help). To elevate this apartment it would be helpful to fix the front door light as it was broken and upgrade the TV. Just and FYI you will need to pay the tourist tax at the local post office on your first day

Wonderful apartments in perfect location

This was a perfect location in Kotor Old Town, it was near everything that we needed. The decor is lovely inside and out. Staff were really helpful and quick to answer our questions on whatsapp, they came to us immediately to help us find the apartments, gave lots of recommendations and let us store our luggage after check out. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning was great in the heat, bathroom very clean and modern.

My friend in the attic apartment felt it was a bit difficult to use the bathroom due to the low ceilings, but this was on the information when we booked, so not a problem really.

being in the centre of the old town and by the cathedral means sleep was disrupted. the bells kick in very early! so worth bringing ear plugs! that said, the location is very central and the noise is the pay off.

Extremely loud every night, loud techno music, making it impossible to sleep. Utensils were dirty when we arrived. Having to ask for toilet roll every day was a bit weird, it should be stocked up as we were there for 6 nights

Quiet very clean, efficiency apartment just outside old city walls. Walk to grocery & beach.

Location was close to Old Town and Ladder trail and a good bakery. We had fresh muffins and pastries each morning. A 5 min walk to shopping mall or grocery store. 10 minute walk to beach. Old town was crowded & noisy sometimes so it was nice to be close but not inside walls. Host was very kind. Apartment was very clean. Our favorite activities: Ladder hike to church and medieval village ruins , cable car for drink & views, rent E bike and ride to Tivat, swim at beaches.

Nothing. FYI we saw 2 cars get "booted" for parking in front of bakery so beware. The apartment is an efficiency and the lights light up the entire room. My husband gets up very early so I just covered my head with bed cover. There wasn't a microwave. It was not a hardship for us. We heated our spinach and cheese pastries in a pan but a microwave would have been handy.

Nice location

The location, in the middle of the old town, the apartment decoration and it was comfortable. The host was reactive and kind.

As it was located in the Old Town, we listened to the music and noises from the bars around all night long, even with windows closed. Furthermore, the AC was not very powerful (even though the temperature was 18C, it was not cooling down the room) and it was making a frequent (every 2 minutes) and very loud noise all night long, which did not allow us to sleep at all (only if we turned off the AC and slept in the warm temperature). The host tried to fix it while we were there, but apparently it was a “normal” thing of the AC. If you have light sleep, consider this information before booking.

The apartment is amazing,it is clean and very well equipped and the location is the best, very near to old town Kotor and to Kotor bay as well, near to Kamelija Shopping center if in case you need to buy or forgot something necessary ,or if you need a pharmacy All in there! A beautiful place and a beautiful apartment

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment! The location was amazing, the facilities were great and the bed was super comfortable. The host was lovely and we had no troubles checking in. We absolutely fell in love with Kotor and if we were to go back there is no doubt we would stay here again!

Very well-located lovely apartment

The location is perfect and the apartment is spacious and clean. Even though it is above a main road, the apartment was siledt once the shutters and windows were closed.

Finding the apartment was a bit hard. The taxi driver left me at a different gate from the one the pictures indicating the location showed, so I had to walk around with my suitcase. I eventually found the building,but only after asking for help. And then I didn't know that the door in the picture belonged to the building and my apartment was inside. Perhaps more precise instructions should be given to reach the apartment. The refrigerator doesn't cool stuff properly and I believe it should be changed. The apartment owners cannot keep your luggage once you check out. Apparently this is written somewhere in the description on Booking, but unfortunately I didn't read it. I was lucky to have a friend staying at a nearby hotel. She kept my luggage until I departed to the airport.

A+++ apartment in old town Kotor!

Beautiful apartment in an EXCELLENT location right in the old town. Very clean, had everything I needed, quiet location, comfortable bed with nice linens, and the best shower/water pressure I have had in my two months of travel! The host was very responsive and helpful. I wish I could stay longer because it’s such a comfortable and updated apartment. If you’re trying to decide on a place to stay in Kotor, look no further. Highly recommend!

Amazing location, right in the centre of the old town. The check in was so easy - Jelena even sent her mum to meet me so I could find the property easily! The apartment was beautiful, clean, had everything I needed, and the bed was the most comfortable I think I've ever slept in.

The view was literally the stone wall of the building opposite (I was in apartment 2). It didn't bother me as I didn't come to look out of the window but if you want a view then ask for a different apartment in the building.

Tourist trap

The AC worked. The house looks nice from the outside.

The host realized that they could even charge for the attic if they just put a bed in it and that is exactly what they did. The bathroom is missing a window, they just removed it because it was in the way of the shower, so you hear everything as loud as down on the street, closing the bathroom door is useless, because it's just that shabby. The shower is leaking because only parts of the glass frame exist and because of the sloping roof the average height of the bathroom is around 1,50m. The kitchen and half the bedroom has weird stains on the wall, there are open wires sticking out next to the light-switches and even the door to the room is bent so hard you it does not prevent any noise from the floor. These are SOME of the faults. If you can't find anything else in Kotor, safe the money and sleep in your car.
