WONDERFULL!!!!

Location in the old town, a 500 year old house, which preserves the charm of history. Clean, warm, excellent conditions. Although there is no parking space nearby (the apartment is located in the old town) the host provided us with a FREE parking space and transported us with his own car from parking to the apartment. In the apartment we had beer, juice, sweets, coffee, everything on the house.

Fun, interesting and quirky apartment in a fantastic location.

Quirky, unique interior, fantastic location in old town, and great views. Owner couldn’t have been more helpful.

Kitchen facilities very basic. Just as a warning Lots of steps up to the department which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for elderly or infirm etc.

Convenient and comfortable accommodation

Great location right in the heart of the old town. Nice view of port from the attic window ( on tiptoes!)

Kitchen was fairly basic. Little bench space and no large knife for food preparation. Switches had to be swapped over often as they were shared.

EXCEPTIONAL

We wanted to specifically thank the owner’s hospitality. We had a wonderful stay and were absolutely thrilled with the location. It was a dream to be right in the center of Kotor's Old Town, with all the historical sites, shops, and restaurants just a short walk away. The convenience was unbeatable & the breath taking view from our room.

Lovely stay in Old Town Kotor

The room was lovely and the view of the harbor incredible. The brothers that own the apartments are very helpful. It was wonderful staying in Old Town.

Evven though the view is worth it, there are many steps to get to the appartment. The building is very old, with old plumbing. The bathroom was very clean with no water leaks, but there is a odor if you don't keep the bathroom window open.

Excellent and budget friendly

Studios Kono is a hidden gem within the heart of kotor. The room was just amazing,reminding of a vintage style luxury space. The owner was so kind and helpful, he helped us with many guidance and infos. The windows open to a top picturesque view of the beautiful blue ocean and the city. Will surely recommend.

It was an okay stay.. for last minute booking

The property is in the kotor old town which makes it so easy to access and find restaurants and attractions. The property is good

About the bathroom its a bit difficult… it was very small and smelly all the time.. at night we found a bug on the wall … might have crawled in.. so it was scary at night..

Location is amazing, within the walls of Old Town. Close to bus stop and harbour. Big room.

The owner didn't get in touch with me to advise about check in, I had to message him on a few occasions to find out how I go about checking in but he wasn't responding at first. I ended up having to call him. It was also very hard to find. Very dated which I knew it would be when I booked it, but it felt older in real life than it looked on the pics. The hairdryer wasn't working, and the bathroom light doesn't have a switch, it was on a plug socket in kitchenette. The shower is cramped so if your tall, expect to duck down. Bathroom stinks and toilet was heavily marked through wear and tear. The outdoor space isn't attached to the building, its in front of it up a few stairs. I had the attic room which didn't have the views I expected as it only had a velux window, which you had to stand on a box to be able to see out of.

Quirky character filled apartment with views high up in the old town.

The location is excellent for access from the bus station and also very close to all the significant parts of the old town. The apartment is pleasantly quirky and the view is very nice. The area is full of activity for those seeking it but the apartment is a peaceful place to stay. The hosts were very helpful, particularly with the baggage.

Not criticisms but it should be noted there are approx 60-70 stairs to reach the apartment so the mobility challenged might struggle. Also the shower is unusual and tall people might have difficulty.

Nice

Central location but quiet place.

The host replies very late and didn’t show for storing our luggage. We still don’t know who is person we met twice there, but he was not the host. AC is very old and doesn’t work properly. The window blind gets stuck and it’s nearly impossible to close.

Great location, if you can find it

Location is everything - and Studios Kono is in a superb location, inside the walled old city. You are right in the thick of the action and a quick walk to the Gurdic (southern) gate. I appreciated the free parking spot in a city lot about a 10 minute walk away. It is a very good value for the price, but note my issues below. Also, just below the apartments is one of the hipper bars in the old town, "Bandiera." Loved walking up the stone steps to the St. Ivan fortress above the city for breathtaking views. Kotor is just magnificent.

The owners were slow to respond to my whatsapp messages as I was on the road driving to Kotor and when I arrived I was displeased that they were not there to meet me and I had no way of knowing how to find the apartment or enter it. There was much confusing back-and-forth via text about how to find the parking and the apartment. It was not at all simple, and created much stress and confusion for me. Their English is not very good and they should be more proactive about reaching out to incoming clients and giving clearer instructions and most importantly, meting the client upon arrival. The room is located up about 75 steep stairs, about 5 flights. If you have heavy bags leave them in the car and transfer your bare essentials into a smaller bag. I barely managed to wrestle one suitcase up all the way, and it only weighed 15kg.

The host was extremely kind and friendly.. he was kind enough to pick us up from the airport when we were struggling to get a taxi.. the location was central too!

Uniquely decorated nice room with excellent location in the other end of the old town area

Unique decor and beautiful view to Kotor bay from the window. The friendly owner helped to carry the heavy bag to and from the room and arranged the airport transport (a lot of stairs around is the only negative thing). Nice location in the beginning of the old town area, next to the harbor. A well-equipped supermarket (Idea) 5 min. away.

Extremely cute option for stay - lots of stairs!

The room is very cute and unique, very homey. The small kitchenette had everything we needed for our short stay. The place is one of the first ones inside the Old Town when coming from the bus station, so handy location. Even though it is on the edge of the town, everything in Kotor is a short walk away.

I had read reviews before about the stairs, but the amount took me by surprise. There were a good 4 sets of stairs to get up to the flat, so if you have a hard time with climbing stairs, avoid this place. Our shower also lacked any walls or curtains, so water was splashing all around the room unless you were extremely careful.

Great and special property within the old city

Very specially decorated room full of touch and history - so different than the standard rooms you usually receive and yet without compromising on comfort. Looks like every detail was well thought by the owners. Amazing location within the old city walls.

If you arrive with a car - be aware - the offer provides for free parking but the property is inside the old city where cars cannot enter. The free parking turned to be a street indicated by the host where you can park for free if you find an empty parking (good luck with this), located 10min. walk (half hilly) and many stairs from the property. If you don't have a car, this is of course not an issue, unless you have a problem with climbing steep stairs with your luggage.

Beautiful 600 year old property in the heart of Kotor old town

The room is very cosy and the view from the room is incredible specially when there is a cruise ship docked in the port of Kotor. The bed is very comfy as well.

There is no free parking nearby. Although there is free parking 10 min walking distance away from the property. There are no signboards about the property nearby, we had to talk to multiple people to find out the location of the property

Nice stay in Kotor

The apartment location is perfect, but it's a bit tricky to find it. Lots of stairs to reach the door, so careful if you have any physical issue, you travel with a wheel or baby chair, etc. The rooms are very fancy. They have the basics for the stay, and a lovely view to Kotor bay. The host is very nice. Show us the room, was very polite with us...nice job

Gorgeous location, welcoming, good value, friendly

The location at the edge of the old town is great- 4 minutes walk from the heart of Kotor but close enough to the main road that parking and fetching bags is easy. Up a lot of stairs which meant there was no passing noise in the evening. Sea view room had an incredible view and worth paying for. Bed was huge and comfortable with a good heater to warm the room and lots of blankets. Great shower pressure and instantly hot water. We didn't use the kitchenette but there were some very practical and homely touches - different teas left out to use etc.

The bathroom did smell a bit funky like the plumbing needed looking at, but it's an old property so it felt reasonable

Exceptional

The room was spacious and furnished with imagination and character. It had a view over the bay, albeit from a skylight window, plenty of room for clothes and was very comfortable. It was very reasonably priced in a town that is otherwise almost uniformly over-priced (at least in relation to the rest of Montenegro) and was located on the edge of the old town, up steps and sufficiently back from the noise of bars late at night, a short walk from the bus station. The owner was very pleasant, helpful and laid-back.

The air-con unit is placed so that it doesn't intrude on the aesthetics of the room but it points down away in a corner of the room so the effect of cool air is rather lost - to cool the room requires it being left on all day.

Cozy place in Kotor

I loved the decoration and furniture of the room. The location was great, very calm, in the historic part of Kotor. Perfect when you travel with little luggage (if you travel with heavy luggage please consider that you will have multiple stairs to arrive, this is part of Kotor's charm) very easy to find if you follow Google guidance.

Stopover in Kotor

Very nice room, full of old furniture which made some atmosphere. Nicely equipped kitchen and clean shower and toilet. Great view to the bay and to the roofs of the old town. Free parking nearby.

Entrance is a bit hidden, maybe some more instructions on how to get the would save going up and down the steps and knocking on random doors. Also a double duvet would be better than two singles.
