A gem of an apartment in the old town

This apartment in the old town is a little gem. It feels like a home - not just a soulless space renovated for tourists. Sure, there are a few slight signs of age like a few cracked floor tiles or the slightly old (but clean) bathtub, but they didn’t deter from it’s charm. Above all, the view from the bedroom is just amazing - overlooking a small square, the old buildings opposite and over their roofs, the mountaintops! The instructions for checking in were details and clear. There was oil, coffee, basic spices and a selection of teas in the kitchen - no microwave and the stove was on the slow side, but still it’s possible to cook a meal if you feel so inclined. The bed was comfy and the air of the flat was fresh.

The bells of the nearby church(es) stopped ringing for the night - but alas started up again at 7am - and 6am on Sunday. Even with the window and shutters shut and earplugs the volume is so high and the peal so long that the this woke me up every morning. But I would imagine this is the situation for most old town flats. And it is a lovely sound to wake up to at least.

-location is unbeatable. Just right in the heart of old town and the way up to the church on the mountain. - The owner is helpful to recommend many places to visit or where to eat around Kotor. - The room was big, clean, and very comfy. - Well-equipped facilities

- check out time was a bit early but I think it is common in this area.

Great, great location

Amazing location in the old town. Close to everything, including Kotor's best tour company, 360 Monte, located next door. We cooked meals and were able to do laundry. Slobodanka, the hostess was great and very informative. We went with her tips and recommendations on what to do. We had an amazing time in Kotor & Montenegro.

Excellent stay in the old town

Our experience could not have been better. Slobodanka was friendly, welcoming, helpful and kind. Communication very good. Lovely apartment in the old town. There is a window overlooking a square which has live music in the evenings which was very enjoyable. If you don't like the music, the windows are triple glazed and block out almost all sound. Very clean. This was my second stay and if I'm back again in Kotor I'll come back for a third! Thanks.

Perfect location in the old town

Perfect location for spending time in the old town. Comfortable bed, and the shutters ensured the room was really dark overnight. Great view across the old town to the mountains fe the window. The host was helpful, even coming to meet when I was lost, as well as suggesting activities etc.

Generally ok with a significant defect

Good location, only 1min away from south gate. Acoustic proof window. Efficient AC. Nice host giving local advises on attractions and restaurants.

Hot water run out fast - less than 5mins for shower and the waiting time for reheat is more than 1hr due to capacity of the boiler.

Best apartment in Kotor. Period. Everything was super great!

Landlady was immediately kind and supportive in guiding us with my GF to interesting places in town, such as fortress (tvrdava), speed boat trip to Blue Cave, restaurants, market under the apartment and best cake ever :) she Is professional! Location is the best in town! It's located on a square with often live music and the "living room" (Cafe Perper). If you are a cat person like me, there is plenty of clean cats to pet :) We will come next year ofcourse but for a longer stay. Even with our closest friends :)

The flat is located in the best area, it was very clean, the host was nice and very helpful

Top location, in the old town just near the base of the stairs up to the Kotor Old Town City Walls which came in handy. Host was super friendly and went out of her way to assist us with what was in the area and the surrounds. This was a few days before everything was locked down for COVID 19 so she was providing updates via text message and in person which was extremely appreciative. She also provided information on where to eat and do grocery shopping. Also one thing we didn't know about for Montenegro was the $1 Euro per day, per person that needed to be paid to the tourist office. She meet us at the tourist office the next day and assisted us in paying this tax.

Place was great, our only concern was the shower head when turned on kept spraying outside the bath tub and didn't seem to do it's job very well. Other than that it was a great place.
