I realised I'd made a mistake as soon as we arrived. The room - the cheap option - was small, albeit with an oversized shower, and dark, I asked whether we could change to a bigger room and pay the difference (I had booked for six nights). Fortunately, the dupleix was free after three nights. It made all the difference. The place was super spacious, although the shower was oddly smaller than the previous one. There were two balconies to enjoy the view of the marina and the iconic castle opposite. Mirko, our host - a water polo Olympic gold winner - gave us a discount and moved the bags for us while we were out. He also called the cab driver while we were being driven to Tivat airport to make sure we had been picked up. Staying there was the perfect ending to our Balkans holiday. My advice is to book the upstairs apartment with the water view if you can. You can enjoy a takeaway bbq from down the road - highly popular - on the balcony. The rooms are also very quiet. My high scores are based on the large apartment. A day out to Perast is a must. It is improbably pretty and is about a 30-minute bus ride.
The shower, which is downstairs from the bedroom, did not drain very well. No convenient plug for the kettle. The stairs might be a problem for some as it has no outer rail.

Located 8 min walk from busstation, the big room is huge, two Floors ,with sleeping upstairs, two terasses, with nice views of port and Kotor old city. Very Nice Host, gave kits of tips.
Douche cabin a bit small

Excellent location. Large space and has everything you need.
My only issue was that the shower did not drain. I was ankle deep in water half way through a 5 min shower. I was worried the whole time that the shower base was going to overflow ( it didn’t ).

Pavo is an amazing host, he waited for us and helped us with parking and our bags, also he gave us suggestions for our visit. The apartment is in a perfect location in a calmed place next to the marina, has a supermarket a block away, everything is very close.

Excellent location, just a few mins from Kotor old town and the bus station. Apartments was nice and clean with a lovely shower. Easy to check-in, even late at night
Bed could be comfier and the pillows were tiny, so some better pillows needed

Perfect location a few minutes walk from the bus station and from the old town. Communication from the host was excellent. The room was very clean and modern, and was quiet and peaceful at night.
Some of the fixtures and fittings were in need of some maintenance, for example the shower didn't spray properly on any of the settings and didn't drain well, and the sink taps had come loose and were difficult to turn. Nothing too major though.

The location was excellent. Everything is just 5-10 minutes walk away from the property. The host was very welcoming. The room was as how we expected and even exceeded our expectations. There was a supermarket nearby if you need anything. Restaurants were accesible as well. The Kotor Old Town was just few minutes walk from the property and the view from our room was just spectacular. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Kotor.

Great location: it’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus station, on flat ground. It helps that the building is red, which makes it very easy to spot from the bus as we arrived 😄 The old town and a supermarket is a 5 minutes walk.
Beautiful surroundings: Kotor Bay is just a few steps away.
Very compact room, but it’s clean and has everything we need. Would have been nice to have a kitchenette too. Pavo met us upon arrival, equipped us with detailed information for our stay and is easily reachable on WhatsApp.

We stayed in the small apartment but it was perfect for our needs. The location was stellar, close to the bus station, grocery store, shopping, coffee and BBQ Tanga. I would love to stay again.
9.0 / 10.0
The location was wonderful - easy to walk to the old city and the bus station within 5 minutes, but without the noise and bustle of staying in the old town. Pavo was very helpful and recommended activities, providers and restaurants, all of which worked out well. There were two terraces to sit out on - one in shade and the other in sun so provided for all tastes. The outside chairs were standard, but there were cushions inside for extra padding if required. Plenty of storage space and the kitchen was well provided - washing up liquid, some coffee as well as utensils and crockery. The air conditioning was very efficient and quiet.
Not a problem but it should be noted that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom upstairs, so those who need to get up in the night should be aware. Might also be useful to have a table lamp next to the bed - but that is being very picky as our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed it a lot.

A truly unforgettable stay – far beyond our expectations!
We booked this place through Booking, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a spacious, beautifully maintained sea-view room that was incredibly generous in size for two people. It even included a separate kitchen area and a dining table, making it feel more like a cozy apartment than just a room.
Before our arrival, the room had been impeccably cleaned — everything was spotless! The kitchen and bathroom were both fully equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and at home.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was our lovely host, Daniela. She is by far the most thoughtful, warm, and attentive host we’ve ever had during any of our holidays. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home — even visiting the tourist information center beforehand to bring us a map and give us a detailed overview of Kotor, along with her personal recommendations. Thanks to her, we experienced the city like a local!
Whenever we needed help or had questions, she was incredibly easy to reach and always offered helpful suggestions — including tips from her local friends.
We are beyond grateful for her hospitality and kindness. If we ever return to Kotor (which we hope to!), we would absolutely choose this place again, not only for Daniela, but also for its ideal location — just a 3-minute walk to the Old Town and close to great restaurants like Galion.
Highly, highly recommended! 🌟

Location was amazing.
Nothing to note.

The proximity to the main bus stop - make it easy when coming to or getting out of Kotor by bus.
It was also convenient to walk to the Old Town - about 10 min walk away, so coming back to the room for a mid-day break was no trouble at all.
There was a big supermarket (Idea) just opposite the road. The highly popular restaurant BBQ Tanjka was just around the corner. There was a small beach behind the alley where the apartment was.
The staff Pavo was friendly and helpful. Having a staff on site made it easy to get help for issues about the room and advice about the area.
There was no rack in the shower to put the shampoo - have to leave the bottle on the floor.

It was love at first sight - the view alone was spectacular and the apartment spacious and well equipped with everything. The host was extremely kind and helpful and made our check-in process seamless and easy. He also gave excellent recommendations for places to eat and helpful advice for sightseeing. The property is located just a few steps away from the Old Town but in a very relaxed location. The special highlight was a terrace and a balcony overlooking the harbour, just perfect!

I am very torn writing this review. First of all, the positives.
1. The property is very responsive and reliable.
2. Brilliant location - right on the Marina just across from one of the gates into the Old Town and easily walkable to all of them, including the main Sea Gate, but very quiet at night.
3. There's a supermarket at the end of the street and a famous barbecue place round the corner where you can get takeaway and bring it back to your personal outside space.
4. The property is very close to the bus station - 6-7 minute walk tops, and a ten minute walk away from the point at which most tours to the Blue Cave leave.
5. Pavo is incredibly helpful - he came to find me when my GPS insisted that the address of the property was in India and that there was no such place in Kotor (seriously). When my iPhone charger broke on a Sunday with nowhere open to buy a new one and my phone almost dead, he loaned me his charger for two hours which was a lifesaver. He's very knowledgeable about the Old Town - his family have lived in Kotor for centuries, so he gives reliable recommendations and patiently spends a lot of time with you explaining the city and the options open to you.
6. Little things, like supplying a plug-in anti-mosquito device, are great - no one likes mosquitoes.
7. Although I wasn't allocated one, there are some lovely rooms in Qualitas Apartments. When I saw my room I asked if there was another with a view of the Marina (more about this below) and I was shown a duplex apartment with kitchen facilities, huge living room with windows onto a fantastic view and a large bedroom upstairs. I can't manage stairs when I'm half awake and the loo is downstairs with no handrail, so I had to turn it down. So they did try to accommodate my room request when I arrived for an extra fee which seemed minimal given the difference in rooms.
8, Plates, bowls, cutlery, cups and even cloth napkins are provided as well as a kettle.
The room I reserved was billed as a King Deluxe. It was definitely not deluxe. In the UK and USA to qualify as "a room", a room absolutely has to have windows. There were no windows in this room. Windows with Venetian blinds had been installed within the frame of the door; this was the only source of what little light came through, but even when the blinds were open, the room was virtually pitch black, even during a sunny day. Lights had to be turned on to see anything properly at all. It was an exterior room which opened directly onto the outside quiet passageway and the garden opposite and, OK, so a few intrepid ants found their way inside. That I can deal with. What was really difficult was that the room was very damp and it was impossible to ventilate because of the lack of windows and the impossibility of opening the two door window panels as they're large enough to compromise the security of your stuff when you're out, and when you're in the room, it's usually late and mosquitoes are out in force, so not a good idea to give them free entry. The bed was comfortable and as advertised, big, but the room was cramped with no chair for the desk, just two small round fold up stools. The shower was a good feature and had been carved out of the room itself. I must have had a bit of travel fatigue as in spite of all this I stayed an extra night as I had decided to make Kotor my base. On my last day, I ran into a couple who had a beautiful room with sofa, and kitchen facilities, double fronted full-size windows with fantastic views onto the water, Old Town and mountains. Turned out they paid exactly what I paid for two nights. Which really disappointed me - single people routinely pay twice as much as a couple yet often get the worst room, not just here but the difference in our rooms here was enormous. My advice? Make sure you don't book my room, ESPECIALLY if you have asthma or respiratory problems.

Danijela and her husband were the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to look after me and make me feel welcome. Danijela not only did my washing for me, but ironed it!!! Talk about above and beyond.
Loved the little verandah where I could enjoy an afternoon drink and watch the world go by.

The location is perfect: it's quiet, and only a couple of minutes walk from the Old Town and close to the ship's pier. There are lots of cool cafés in the neighbourhood, as well as a supermarket.
There is a free car parking nearby, although it is often full. However, we were always lucky and managed to find a space.
The hosts are very friendly.
The room is small but cosy and clean with everything you need, including a kettle and a fridge. The Wi-Fi works good.
Nothing:)

The location was excellent - overlooking the harbour and the lively Old Town of Kotor, but quiet. Such a beautiful view! The apartment was very spacious, had great aircon, was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hosts Mirko and Daniella are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and hope to be back ourselves soon. And Kotor is a great base.
All very good!

The room is spacious, well furnished and has an elegant touch. Short walking distance to places to swim, to the main attractions and in a quiet location. The welcoming host was waiting for me when I arrived and was available all the time.

Mirko is a wonderful host! His wife Dany is lovely too ❤️
Mirko did the tourist registration on the first day. The room was also very clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, we also had a very nice gazebo where we had breakfast every day. The apartments are very close to the old town, which is also very beautiful, the sea is also very close.
Mirko always asked us if we were all right, it's very nice ☺️ Dany ironed the clothes for us, which was also very nice and helped out!
everything was great 😀

The hosts were lovely and helpful without being overbearing. Great information on arrival. There was a nice tiny garden area I could have a drink outside. Bliss. Close to bus station and the old town.
Take mosquito repellant, my fault got bitten, used aircon afterwards and that helped.
