Place is rustic and not what I was expecting however it was good We had no safe and room was small About a ten minute walk to downtown .. II would recommend it but just be aware it's very basic but they do have a pool and lovely gardens

Pleasant stay overall. Staff are welcoming and nice!

Everyone at the property was super nice and welcoming. The location was very convenient, about 5 mins walk to supermarket, 15mins walk to bus station, 20mins walk to historic city center. Breakfast is ok.

The rooms decor look a bit cheap but it’s a humble place. They are still equipped with AC and a mini fridge :)

It was the second time that my husband and I choose to spend our anniversary in Paraty and after we stayed fist time at Missanga, we not even looking around for the second time, we just booked at Missanga's again, because we knew the good quality of the facility and the good reception with the stuff that works there. And we are already planning to stay at Missanga's for next year, but this time with our parents.

Best stay in Brazil so far!

I love this place! Beautiful, peaceful, with lovely plants. The pool is refreshing and the lady bought us a pool towel when seeing we were using the pool. Breakfast is a highlight, sitting outside your own room is a table that the staff set up in the morning and once you wake up and go outside, they bring a beautiful selection of breads, ham, cheese, fresh juice, coffee with steamed milk, cakes and more. Sitting next to the pool eating this beautiful breakfast, whilst watching the birds was amazing! Rooms are beautiful and clean, air con, blankets, cleaned every day. A short walk from the town, a small paradise

The breakfast was incredible with homemade juice, jam, and cake, as well as other fresh ingredients! The staff were so friendly and even though they didn't speak English we managed to communicate. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

On the first night there were very many mosquitos in the room, but most of them seemed to have disappeared after 1 day.

Excellent “Pousada” and great staff !

The place is very comfortable, clean and have nice common areas for interaction with family and friends, even a BBQ area so you can grill your own steaks ! The staff is fantastic and very accommodating of all our requests.

Breakfast was delicious with cheese, ham breads, cakes, fruit juice every day. Beautiful outside area with a pool and trees and hammocks.

The staff were lovely but rarely around so we found it difficult to book things like tours or taxis with them which was a shame.

They served an excellent personalised breakfast, the staff is super friendly and the place is fantastic, we saw a little sweet bird swimming in the pool. They also serve coffee and cake in the evening

Bed is a bit small, especially for tall people. The poussada is 10min walk away from the center (still very easy to go there)

Very cozy and private building. The room had a little patio with a hammock, a couch and a table. Staff was super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is AMAZING.

It’s not far from the hustle and bustle but it’s far enough that after a long day out and about it can be discouraging to leave the hotel to walk into town for dinner. The shower had a few dead bugs when we first walked in. Nothing dramatic but the staff could have cleaned it up before we arrived.

Very nice vibes, friendly personel, helpful with laundry and activities

First room was noicy from some ventilator, so we took a downgrade to get a room which was more quiet. Breakfast was decent but limited selection. Rooms were pretty basic.

Internet was bad - impossible to watch any videos in the evening. Impossible to send even emails at many hours of the day, including afternoon. Impossible to download any video morning, afternoon or evening Only 1 nightstand which was pretty annoying. No place to store stuff on that side of the bed Zero English, only Portuguese spoken Breakfast not starting earlier than 8 which doesn't work at all in this region where temperatures at 10 AM are already around 36 Celsius....

Great common area and pool

This place has a wonderful pool and relaxing area, the staff is friendly (Ilias speaks English very well, the rest of the staff doesn’t) and is available throughout your stay. The birds are playing around in the garden all day and it’s great to enjoy your breakfast with fresh fruits served next to the pool. The shower is good. The place is not in the old town, it’s at about 10 minutes walking distance.

We started out in room 6 at the pool. This room needs updating with the clinical bright lighting, super firm bed and cheap furniture. The beds are very small in the rooms we stayed, at best 130/140 cm. We moved to room 3 during our stay, with a softer bed, more friendly lighting and not waking up from the preparations for the breakfast in front of the room every morning.
