Picturesque. Staff friendly and accommodating— Miro, Marianne, and man at breakfast. Walking distance to central Paraty and gorgeous pool (which I didn’t use). Comfortable bed. Staff carried my suitcase to my room which was pokier than expected for a suit. Recommend a superior room NOT the suites if going back. Painted happy colours. Big breakfast spread. Comfy sofas. Lovely courtyard around pool — even saw a hummingbird. Colourful shutters and very stylish. Clean rooms. Extra blankets and throws provided. Good quality internet. Mini bar and vanity. Spacious cupboard with hangers
No central light switches so need to find and turn off individually. Black mould painted over in shower. Not sure why but clothes slightly damp throughout my stay. My room was laid out with several connecting rooms. It was clunky to navigate between the spaces in my room. There is a disco next door. I closed the shutters & internal doors which helped. They charge you “optional” 10% extra on top of booking.com costs for service charge & miscellaneous costs.

Good location, nice venue with charming swimming pool area and restaurant. Friendly staff. Close to Paraty downtown and many restaurants and shops.
Bedroom is a bit spartan for a hotel that charges so much and looks so nice on the outside. Old and noisy air conditioning system; shower with curtains that can’t prevent bathroom area from getting all wet.
