Near perfection in Paraty.

It's very spacious, the grounds were beautifully groomed, there's lovely outdoor spaces all around, the rooms were attractive with verandas. The included breakfast was bountiful. Staff was very pleasant and engaging. Pool was roomy.

Enjoy the stay and would visit again

Overall, this is a very good property. The location is close to Paraty’s historic center, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is ok, and the service is excellent, especially Jonas at reception, who really was extremely nice, professional, and informative.

A couple of caveats: some of the finishes could use more care; for example, the silicone work in the bathroom is functional but not very attractive. Also, the mattress is softer than I personally prefer (I usually like very hard beds, even the floor), though most guests will probably find it comfortable.

Great place to stay

We had booked somewhere else fancier but the pool and gym were out of order so found this place with limited research. They accommodated us at the last minute. It isn't fancy but it is comfortable, and the best part is the staff! They are so welcoming and friendly - even with a language barrier they did everything possible to help us and make our stay better. They booked some trips for us too which were both very good. The swimming pool is also a very good size which is hard to find.

The breakfast could be a bit better - scrambled eggs swimming in oil and no labels so hard to tell what was vegetarian. Also not a negative for us but the place takes large tour groups so for the first part of our stay there were a lot of children around in the morning and evening.

As always, a perfect experience!

Recently, I brought quite a few friends with me from germany as well as from California. Everybody told me that it was the best experience of their entire trip. It sure makes a big difference when the first people in the morning are such cheerful, friendly employees.

I could complain about the 1 day rain we encountered, but again, it's so great to be near the historic center. It only took a short walk with an umbrella to have a wonderful time.

Be aware of the photos, they are NOT what they pretend to be.

Swimming poll is nice, garden kiosk also nice, mattress & coton sheets are good too, the hot shower with plenty of water was also appreciated.

Be aware!!! The 61 property photos on Booking will give you the FALSE impression that most rooms are facing the garden/pool area, with private balconies and hammocks, this IS NOT TRUE AT ALL, of the 52 rooms only 12 are actually "good rooms", ALL THE OTHERS, despite pompous names like "Queen Superior Suite" are cramped shoebox size rooms with a ceiling so low you can touch it just rising your arms and equipped with only one small front window that opens to a public internal corridor or to the parking lot where anyone passing by can see you truly, requiring the shades to stay permanently closed. The 40 "bad rooms" (not depicted in the property photos) are located behind one of the two parking lots (Motel 6 style) so the best thing you would view anyway is your own car. Other "non parking lot" rooms are even worst, facing the narrows of internal/service corridors or the employees access/quarters. They should have hired a better architect thats for sure. Upon arrival I felt defrauded, paying way to much money for what I was getting back. Over and over I witnessed other guests arriving and complaining about felling also misleaded by the "Superior Rooms" naming when in reality they were getting the worst possible accommodation in the property. I myself payed over R$9.000,00 for 4 nights x 2 "Queen Superior Suite" and felt like an idiot. Worth to mention too: the breakfast was pretty basic for such "wanna be" hotel. I will never get back here.

A pousada é maravilhosa para quem procura tranquilidade e muito espaço verde com uma grande piscina. Ficamos um quarto double suite com uma varanda que proporcionou 5 dias excelentes. a localização é perfeita e a noite é possivel ir andando para o centro histórico sem se preocupar em pegar o carro. Toda equipe é muito prestativa e simpática, Wagner e Jonatas nos receberam muito bem. Café da manhã servido na varanda da piscina muito gostoso e ótimo ambiente

Acredito que música nas áreas comuns poderia ser mais baixa e um som mais tranquilo e ambiente, mas não nos incomodou.

Boa pousada, porém o valor estadia é muito alto pelo que oferece.

Quarto bom, com duas grandes casas de casal, limpeza excelente, ar condicionado excelente, banheiro muito bom também, funcionários muito atenciosos e solícitos, café da manhã apenas razoável,localização muito boa.

Na verdade pelo preço pago na diária esperava muito mais do que ofereceu. Portanto até gostei, porém o custo/benefício foi muito ruim.

A estrutura externa no geral é muito boa e os funcionários muito simpáticos e sempre dispostos a ajudar, fui no réveillon e a ceia foi ótima.

O banheiro precisa de uma reforma para aumentar o conforto, como fui numa época de alta temporada o preço da diária descola muito da realidade, mas acredito que em épocas normais ok.

Großzügige Pousada mit schönem Außenbereich

Wunderbares reichliches Frühstück mit toller Auswahl, Tische drinnen und draußen am Pool. Schöner und sauberer Pool mit Bar. Schöner Garten mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Sicherer Parkplatz auf dem Hof. Kurzer Fußweg in die Stadt oder zum Stadtstrand.

Zimmer etwas schwierig zu lüften, fühlen sich an kühlen Tagen etwas feucht an.
