After completing a tour from Argentina to Rio, staying at the Maris was exactly what I needed and exceeded my expectations. It was calm and relaxed, beautifully clean and comfortable. I felt so at home and was so well looked after on the three days I was there. The room was so cosy and the surrounding were just beautiful and charming. A short walk down the river to the town for shopping and dinner. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!! My transport was arranged to and from Rio and the whole experience was seamless, taking away any stress. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay - I wish I’d had more days to stay longer! :)

We loved everything about our stay here. The room was perfect and clean, the breakfast was huge and had varied options. The location was ideal, only a 10/15 minute walk to the old town centre and we were given lots of recommendations of activities for all kinds of weather during our stay. We were also recommended the owners preferred restaurants for during our stay - we ate at 3 of them during our stay and they were our top meals in Brazil so far!
Our only (very small) feedback is that our shower only ran cold water but it was still manageable!
