Cozy and cute hotel!

A very cozy homestay vibe and the location is great - only 10mins walk from the old town. The lady who owned the place is lovely!

Great location, welcoming staff, clean rooms

Spacious, incredibly clean property. The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough. The room was bright, basic but had everything we needed with towels etc and a fridge. The kitchen was really well equipped and we were made to feel so welcome. Great location for accessing the Main Street and the historic old town.

Great for short stays!

Parking, while limited, it worked very well for us. The room has a sensational AC, great for the heated days and nights. The location is very convenient as well!

No option to pay by card in the facilities. Our bathroom shower wasn't cleaned properly, and so was the fridge.

Welcoming pousada near town centre

This was a nice pousada, located just a few minutes' walk from the old town centre. The environment of the pousada is welcoming, with a sheltered patio for guests to relax. I was mostly in contact with Manuella, who was very pleasant to deal with, and helpful in organising a tour with a local tour company.

The only negative point was that the bedsheets came off the mattress too easily. One or two turns during the night and you ended up sleeping on the bare mattress

Nice and quiet

The area is very quiet, but still close to rodoviaria and historical center. The room was nice and clean and it never got too hot, it had great ventilation. The toilet is cushioned. The people at the reception were very nice and friendly. There is filtered water and coffee available as well as access to the outdoor kitchen. They have umbrellas for the guests for when it rains.

Water pressure in the shower is not great.

Cute little Pousada very well located (with kitchen!)

Great location, cute little garden and veranda and very reasonable pricing. And the outdoor kitchen we could use was definitely a plus!

Although the room was clean, it smelled a little musty and the sheets as well as the cover had some stains on it.

The place was as seen on the photos. Very clean and comfortable. In front of the house is a nice little garden with some places to hang out. There is also a public kitchen to use.

The staff was only there to check us in and clean the place. Although we could speak Portuguese fluently, a “hi” was all we could get out of them. The place has huge opportunities, since everything is really great, but unfortunately everything is restricted by rules. The kitchen is only supposed to use for preparing small snacks. The list of rules made us feel uncomfortable to hang around the garden (gathering with people is not allowed, putting on some music is not allowed etc.)

My top choice for Paraty, recommend without hesitation.

Family stay. Reserved for 2 nights and ended up staying an additional night, as all of us truly enjoyed the facilities and wanted to prolong our stay. Great value, comfortable, everything works, excellent friendly staff. For my next stay in Paraty Pousada Roma will be my top choice. Recommend without hesitation.

The internet crashes when they are more guests. There must be a way to fix that.

Great place, nice people, very flexible (gave me an early check-in in the morning), close to everything. They gave me a great tips for local places and they offer a good tours.

Excellent location to move around walking

They were super friendly and always trying to find out if we needed something else. They were helpful with us and made us some tips to move around the city.

They do NOT accept credit or debit cards, I would love to know that before making my reservation. On our second day we had to ask them to have our room cleaned due to a confusion.

Localização perto do comércio, tem de tudo por perto. Fica há uns 300mts do início do centro histórico. Pousada não tem café da manhã, mas oferece estrutura para cozinhar e tals.

Cama de madeira. Fica numa estalação toda vez que deita e levanta por conta do uso, parece que vai quebrar. Acho que merece a troca por uma cama box.
