Excellent location, but an amazing owner makes for a wonderful stay

The owner is really the star of this place. He waited for us when we arrived on a late bus, then helped us with our bags up the steep stairs. He provided a lot of valuable information regarding the places that we planned to visit, and was constantly reminding us to take hats, sunblock, etc. And he even offered to help us with our laundry. The location is really convenient from the bus station, barely a couple of minutes, which is really good if you plan to take local buses to visit nearby areas. It's also right next to a huge supermarket, and just a couple of blocks from the main street, but quiet enough to sleep well. The room itself is simple, and it's what you see in the photos. We slept comfortably, and were well rested for each day's events. For the price, I think that good value was delivered, and the owner just made it absolutely excellent!

The aircon was situated at the top of the wall, which provides good circulation, but you'll have to climb up to adjust the settings for fan speed and temperature as it's a manual knob adjustment, and has no remote control.

Great location, very close to the bus station as well as to the centre of the town and the beach. The room had everything that was needed.

The fridge was hang above one bed. We didn't use that bed but it is dangerous for anyone who might sleep there. It was rather poor esthetically and lots of equipment looked heavily used already. Some mould in the shower. Stairs are quite steep, both in the room as well as to the upper floor.

Amazing owner. Cute, central place to stay.

This place is good value for money. And is very centrally located, just 100m from the centre of Paraty and 150m from the bus station. The owner is the sweetest man and could not do enough to help us. We had a late bus to catch the day of our checkout and he was more then helpful looking after our bags and even making us some coffee at one point. We were the only ones staying at one point (low season) and he still got up and made us an amazing breakfast! Would highly recommend.

Quarto limpo e com um ar condicionado pequeno. Mas quebrou o galho.

Não tem estacionamento, paga a parte ha terceiros. Cheiro forte de tinta. Uma entrada/corredor assustador, mais uma escada de difícil acesso para chegar a o quarto. Ar nao refrigera o mesanino que tambémtem uma escada maluca. Dormimos com os colchões no chão.
