Peaceful hostel

The property is in a great location, there’s a really peaceful and calm atmosphere, and breakfast was really good :)

The beds were not super comfortable, and the wifi frequently cut out.

Amazing 😊

The shared spaces were just beautiful and calm. Loved the yellow. Loved the hammocks. Loved the monkeys in the trees and the cat. The staff were lovely, Tai especially. I liked that it was just women. Good aircon in the room and loved that there was no time limit to it. Great location. Good to have extra bathrooms aside from the shared room ensuite. Having had top bunks for ages it was nice that they weren't so tall and felt sturdy.

The room we were in could've had a bit better storage/been a bit bigger , and had individual plugs/lights but we made it work. It'd be nice if they had a dryer.

The Breakfast is not complete.. eggs where missing a also variety of fruit will be better The closet out of the room is not convenient .. The towels cost extra money and they don't say that before arrival...should be mentioned before

The gorgeous garden, lively breakfast and staff made up for the busy shared room.

The garden is so beautiful, with comfortable hammocks, great breakfast and a lovely community energy with other guests. There are external bathrooms available in case the one in the shared room is busy, which was useful! Full of great facilities also to wash clothes, hairdryers, lockers, all night porters, very secure and all you need.

The shared room was a little crowded, the bunks quite low, and the bedding a little cold - I visited in winter, and was offered a blanket but needed a little more. The shared room has a big, clean bathroom, but the water was not very hot and it could have been better looked after - then again, it was so busy due to the popular Jazz festival of Paraty, so it might be different at quieter times.

Very central and relaxing place!

The hostel is very beautiful, with nice hammocks to relax in the garden. Situated in the center of the old city, it is perfect for a relaxing stay in Paraty!! Thanks for yr hospitality! :)

I think the breakfast could be improved, as there was not so much on the table. More fruits would be great! Adding some jam/marmalade would be a great idea, so people can have bread with jam in case they are still hungry. Also, there was no hot water to make some tea. All this is easy to fix, so I do recommend this hostel for future guests.

Perfect location, relaxed, safe atmosphere. Very solo female-friendly

Perfect location, 1min walk from main streets in old town, but very quiet and chilled. Nice spaces to relax in hammocks undercover from rain. Clean, open kitchen. Great breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit etc. Friendly smiles from staff.

Other guests were not very sociable, but may have been a language barrier as they only spoke Portuguese.

Ambiente acolhedor e aconchegante

O hostel superou minhas expectativas. O local é seguro e aconchegante, e a acomodação cumpre com o anúncio — tanto a estrutura quanto a limpeza são impecáveis. O café da manhã é simples, mas gostoso e justo pelo valor. Só tenho elogios ao Hostel Livina e seus anfitriões. O Sr. Fernando é um querido e está sempre disposto a ajudar, e a Thay, que cuida da limpeza e também nos auxilia no dia a dia, foi essencial. Além disso, adorei as interações e as várias dicas sobre Paraty, que fizeram toda a diferença na experiência.

A disposição das tomadas no quarto fica um pouco distante das camas, o que dificulta para carregar o celular. Porém, a questão foi facilmente resolvida com uma extensão que solicitei ao anfitrião, que foi solícito.

Super séjour dans une auberge pour femme

Super découverte. Une auberge pour femme propre, grande, avec un extérieur très beau dans la nature. Un cocon au sein de Paraty, très bien placé tout est accessible à pied. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, le personnel adorable et les chambres et les communs sont nettoyés régulièrement. Tout est accessible 24H/24H et il y a une cuisine ouverte sur l'extérieur pour se faire à manger. Petit bonus pour les petits singes qui viennent piquer de la nourriture le matin : trop mignons

Les matelas des lits étaient très fins et donc pas très confortables

O hostel é lindo e a localização é ótima, bem próximo do centro histórico, da rua principal e da rodoviária. O pessoal que trabalha lá e o dono são ótimas pessoas, muito prestativos e atenciosos. O café da manhã é muito bom. Vale a pena! Se eu voltar pra Paraty, ficarei no Livina novamente.

A única coisa que me incomodou foi a falta de tomada próxima da minha cama, mas o dono rapidamente me emprestou uma extensão e resolveu.
