My room and the view in my room were stunning!!!! I was so happy. The host was super helpful and adorable.
I kept hearing some sort of ringing or bell sound and not sure what it was in the area, but the hotel was adorably charming.

Balcony terrace over lake. Location easy to get to and from train station .
Friendly staff . Allowed us to leave luggage before and after check in & check out . Nice breakfast
Bed was a bit too firm for us . No fridge to keep water cool. Didn’t realise when we booked .

Close to the main Varenna train station. Fantastic view from the room over the lake. We had a very large balcony/ outside area to the side that enhanced the view and allowed to sit out.
The room was basic but very clean with a lot of clothes storage space available. The bathroom was large with an excellent walk in shower cubicle and again, very clean.
A continental style breakfast was provided with an extra different offering each day, i.e. cheese, vegetable cake.
A few issues with the air conditioning that was exaggerated due to the exceptionally high temperatures, but generally it was available albeit not chill cold.
