Very enjoyable, staff super friendly , view stunning from the room & The Grill restaurant really lovely.
Centre of the village, fantastic views of the lake & very old property with a modern twist. Room spotlessly clean & comfortable. Staff in all areas friendly & accommodating.
Rooms & bathroom very cosy. Lighting poor for getting ready ( make up). Breakfast good quality & choice but the hot breakfast only lukewarm which was a little disappointing.

A wonderful stay in Varenna
We had a fantastic experience at the hotel. Everything was spotless, clean, and very well-organized. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking and added so much to our stay. The breakfast was rich, fresh, and offered a great variety of options. A huge thank you to the welcoming and professional staff, especially to Eleonora, who was incredibly helpful and kind. We highly recommend this hotel!

Gorgeous hotel. Junior Suite was perfect for us. Great view. Love Varenna and the surrounding villages. Fantastic location. Incredible staff, nothing is too much for them, super friendly, and so keen to help.
The breakfast could have been better, try adding an egg station.

Royal treatment at the Hotel Royal Victoria!
The property is absolutely beautiful and right on the water. The staff is welcoming and professional. The breakfast was fabulous! We found our room to be extremely comfortable and had a balcony to look out on the water. We even loved our little fake fireplace, which made the room feel so cozy. Aziz, who works as head bartender, is warm and friendly and made us feel like we were long lost friends. We had dinner at their fancy restaurant and loved every minute of it.
It wasn’t a problem for us, but if you are not a fan of ringing bells, you might consider wearing earplugs at night. The bell tower is very near the hotel. We are used to this kind of thing, and it did not bother us at all.
