Amazing hotel in Greta location in Varenna. Walkable distance from train station, close to promenade and restaurants. Excellent facilities and room.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
He assisted us with dinner reservations and was always willing to help us book activities
He spoke perfect English and Spanish
Our room (a loft) was very spacious!
We had dinner one evening at their hotel and the food was not the best
This was actually our worst dinner in Varenna
We also had to go to Hotel Victoria (a different property) for breakfast
The breakfast was excellent though
It was a bit cumbersome because we had bad weather for most of our stay on the lake
Casa du Lac should serve breakfast for their guests in their property as well
