The location in terms of the views was wonderful. The landscaping of the property is beautiful.

The first thing that greeted us when we were lead into our room was a can of raid bug spray! The cottage was not decorated well, very drab, cheap IKEA furniture, etc. It was advertised as having a fireplace, but that was not usable. It was damp and drab. The kitchen came with some coffee and a coffee maker, but no cream. There was no water provided. (The staff did give us a couple of bottles when we asked, though.) We were the only people staying on the property and we had an issue with our flights and could only come from one of our two nights, and they refused to refund us for the one night we were not there. I believe they should’ve made an exception considering all of the circumstances- especially that they were completely empty other than us! The restaurant wasn’t even open! Because it was beforethe season begin begins, and I believe they had just opened. But they should have taken that into consideration when they were asked to waive one of our nights day. We would absolutely never stay at this property again.

This property is stunning, most beautiful place I’ve stayed. The apartment was perfect, so peaceful, with a lovely balcony. The staff were amazing and so helpful. Can’t wait to come back,

Absolutely stunning property. The property is even nicer than the photos which says a lot because the photos are stunning! I’m confident its the best lake views in all of lake Como. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The pools are amazing. Theres no where else I would stay in Lake Como.

Small but insignificant, no daily housekeeping.

The views across lake Como from the elevated position were unforgettable and made for the perfect romantic setting. The house was beautifully presented, spacious, clean and well equipped. The pools were clean and a welcome way to cool off on the hotter days. Nearby Varenna is a delightful town with several good places to eat and drink, bustling with people making for a great ambience. The steep walk from Varenna to the property at Vezio was a challenge but it helped preserve the tranquility by keeping the crowds away. The service team led by Stefano and Giovanna were delightful and very helpful.

For a couple of days there was a group of noisy residents playing loud music around the swimming pool.

This place is amazing, with an old family house, yet that has all the necessary amenities in it. The kitchen has everything you will need, and the table is next to a window facing the Como lake. They also have an amazing garden that you can explore, and its also pretty instagrammable. The hosts were really friendly and helpful with any queries that we had during our stay.

If you are arriving to varenna with your backpacks - do not go by foot. Take a taxi, because the location is on a hill that is pretty tough to climb with your backpacks on. I wouldnt put that as a minus for the house, but rather something the tourists should know.

The location was superb, so beautiful , the most beautiful place we have ever stayed .

The only downside was we tried to walk there from the station with our luggage, definitely not recommended, ring for a taxi. The path is beautiful but very very steep .

We stayed here for a long weekend and cannot think of one thing to fault it. The property was beautiful with rolling green lawns amongst the olive trees. The views of the lake from the property are amazing! We had a little cottage right on the edge over looking the whole lake and it was the most beautiful sight to wake up to every morning. The cottage was clean and had everything that we required to make it the most comfortable stay. Giovanna, Stefan and all the staff were amazing and the most welcoming. they catered to all of our needs and went the extra yard for all our requests. Verenna is only a 15 minute walk down the town however the walk back up the hill is rather steep so we would take a 5 min taxi back from the town which was very easy to organise with just a phone call away. there are loads of restaurants in Verenna but if you are looking for a specific one I would suggest booking before hand as a lot were fully booked when we just showed up at the door. It is very easy to explore all the little villages around on the ferry and we even rented our own boat for a couple hours to drive around and swim in the lake. All in all it was the best stay and we will defiantly be back.

The grounds and position of this property on top of the mountain with its views are spectacular. The guest house is beautiful and the staff are very kind and helpful.

Unfortunately the main floor of the 2 story guesthouse had a very strong musty smell and some of the grout in the shower had black mold. We also lost power for a whole evening.

A beautiful place! Such a good location, with the best views we saw on the lake. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The casa was lovely, so peaceful and had everything you could need for a great stay, eating in or eating out. Wish we had stayed longer.

Extraordinary location in a landscaped olive grove above Varenna and Lake Como. Milena house sits on a terrace with stunning views. Modern interior, complete kitchen, fire place, beautiful semi-private pool. Deck chairs everywhere you might want to use one. Quiet and above the bustle of the lake. Helpful and generous hosts. Overall, expensive but very good value.

The views of Lake Como are incredible. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and everything we needed for our weekend in Varenna. We wished we could have stayed longer. Our flight got delayed and we were going to miss the last train from Milan and the girls at reception were very helpful and gave us contacts for transfers. Will definitely stay here next time we go to Lake Como.

The walk back up the hill after a few too many Aperols in town (wasn’t too bad just felt like it at the time).
