VARENNA GUEST HOUSE 2

The location was amazing! We arrived by train, and the accommodation was just a short walk from Varenna Esino train station. It was also within walking distance of many restaurants and the ferry pier, making it really convenient to explore Lake Como. The self check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The room was incredibly spacious and clean, and we loved that the TV supported Chromecast. The beautiful view of Lake Como from our room was definitely a highlight! We also appreciated the thoughtful little touches, such as the wide selection of tea bags, coffee, and even Biscoff cookies. These made starting or ending our day a little more enjoyable.

Wifi was unstable. On second night after 8PM, we could not load YouTube on TV anymore. Tried a few times, but it still didn't work (but to be fair we did not reach out to host for fix since it was already quite late). The biggest downside for us was definitely the stairs. We had to carry our 24" luggages up and down, which was especially challenging as we were still recovering from muscle aches after hiking in Switzerland just before arriving in Lake Como.

Very lovely place to stay. Conveniently located near the train station but also near ferry boats and lovely restaurants.

Convenient location near the train station and ferry landing, quiet, comfortable and accommodated our early arrival.

The on-line check in process was somewhat laborious when all they needed were photos of our passports.

The location was good. The shower was good. It was lovely to have water and juice given. I also like that there was conditioner to use

Too noisy, could hear people in other apartments. The main complaint is they had good WIFI but not good internet. It would connect and disconnect. Could not use Nexflix on TV. Contacted Host took overnight for contact but advice given we had already tried. Looked at previous reviews and saw that this is a common complaint. If it's a common complaint am unsure why the host does not look into this issue.
