The best air con and ceiling fan known to man . 2 min walk from train station then only five min walk to all of the Varenna restaurants and ferry port to explore lake como , Absolute class

Quiet and beautiful Location was perfect for our needs

The apartment has a perfect location. All the attractions of Varenna are located within walking distance. Apartment 3 I stayed in was exceptionally quiet.

More electrical sockets would be ideal. All the TV channels are in Italian. A couple of other channels could improve the entertainment quality.

The apartment is located close to the train station, and close to beautiful surroundings. The apartment is spacious and the sauna and jacuzzi are a delight. Overall cleanliness is good, and the apartment has (almost) everything you need. The apartment is also very modern with a new, fresh kitchen and a nicely layed out and decorated interior. The host is easy to reach and got us our missing towels really quickly.

Although initial impressions were good, there are a few minor issues. There is a Turkish bath installed that doesn't work, a clock that ran out of batteries, there is a dishwasher but no detergent for it is provided, you'll find a loose backplate behind of the shower knob, an unpatched screw hole in the wall, missing floor skirting in some places, mouldy shower tile grout and a lot of scale buildup around the shower head. By themselves these issues are minor but together they do give the impression that the owner needs to pay more attention to detail when asking these rates (€265/night in the low season).
