Beautiful old house. Think walls.

Although it had shared bathrooms and the hotel was full, there was never a moment where there was not at least one available and they were so clean.

The wooden floors are make very loud squeaky noise and walking on them. This was inside and outside of the room. Walls are thin so you can hear noises outside your room.

Lovely house, great quiet location close to transit, and wonderful host.

Beautiful old building, large room, plenty of bathrooms to share. We love the breakfast as the host makes it very nice. The host also was helpful sharing information and ideas on what to do. We had special small request and the host was very helpful!

Pleasant and comfortable place to stay with friendly staff

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was help-yourself and included many options. It was clean and quiet, and there was a bus station very close by. Also, there was coffee and tea available at any time.

The breakfast was really good. Eggs, bread, yoghurt , cereals, cheese, meat. The beds were very comfy. The neighbourhood is lovely. Staff very friendly. We never had to wait to use the bathroom. The bathrooms are very nice and clean

Overall okay but price is too high

The proximity to the central locations. Room has 4 beds, free coffee/tea all day long. Lucerne day pass for the entire stay was provided

Shared bathroom are actually shared and many a times we had to wait. For the price paid, the breakfast expected was little better but it was not that bad as well. Just all 3 days have the same copy paste breakfast. No efforts were made to go above and beyond by the staff for the kids. Mattresses are soft from edges and our kids feel 2 times during the stay. No lift which means carrying your stuff. Very compact house, so no place to keep luggage easily. No shampoo conditioner is provided. No lotion or anything similar. Overall okay but price is too high for the services provided!

Warm and cozy stay in a family atmosphere

Warm and cozy, family-style B&B in a beautiful old house with lots of history. Nice and peaceful location. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you like meeting people, this beats Airbnb anytime.

Beware if you don't like thin and soft pillows, but it's really no big deal.

Good hotel in Luzern

The room has shutters and a ventilator on the ceiling. The bathroom was small but clean and nice. One of the bigger shower heads we got during our stay in Switzerland. The breakfast was great. The city center is about 1 km away. You can walk there. There was parking in the street behind the hotel for 16 CHF per 24h, which was a lot cheaper than some of the other parking lots we used on our trip.

There was no elevator, but the staircase is wide enough. The curtains are not wide enough to cover the windows, but there are shutters. There is some space for luggage, but the room is not big. The bed is also rather small. Fine when travelling with a partner, but in our case a bit cramped.

Little gem in the heart of Lucerne

Beautiful house in a quiet location around 15 mins from the centre. Clean, spacious, lovely breakfast and staff go above and beyond to help. Highly recommend.

Lovely and chill stay

We spent one night over a hiking weekend with friends. The B&B is so lovely with its beautiful and quiet garden. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of shared toilets which is very convenient. They provided funs for the summer night and turned them on before our arrival, which is thoughtful. Location is quite nice, a few bus stops from the train station. The breakfast is homemade and tasty, far more than expected!

Not really, the one problem is the fun could be noisy for sleeping....so leave the windows open!

This place has so much charm. Loved the breakfast and our room (for four people) was very nice. Even though we had shared bathrooms, there were several on our floor, so one was always available when we needed one.

Floors are quite creaky, but we didn't mind so much. Our room got kind of warm, but we slept with our windows open, which worked out nicely.

It was in a quiet location. Easy access to buses& walking distance to city’s attractions. Shared bathrooms very clean. Comfortable bed & pillows. Fantastic breakfast. Super friendly staff. 🙌🙌

Stairs but we were warned & we are older & carrying 20kg up 2 flights was a bit hard on our old bodies but don’t let that turn you off. It all added to the character of the place

Wonderful B&B

Breakfast was great .. Cheeses breads desserts, eggs, ( poached or hardboiled), fruits cereals , yogurt.. Wonderful staff and close to train ( take train 1. The neighborhood was awesome. Tons if cyclists and runners. We loved the view from room and sat outside.. Lucern is a gorgeous city! Hope to return..

Location - just 10mins bus ride from Lucerne train stn. Though bit old hotel, room is clean. The shared toilet is cleaned regularly. Breakfast is not bad and provides free coffee all day :) Hosts are friendly. Overall, good and recommended hotel for a short stay in Lucerne.

No lift, though it's normal for "old-style" hotels around Europe. So guests have to bear with *heavy luggages going up.

Good location and few minutes away from Lucerne station by bus. Bus stop is only few minutes walk. The staff was friendly and was able to check us in earlier. Shower was good and warm. Access to lounge 24/7
